I always thought I was perfect. I had a perfect family, perfect house, perfect school, perfect best friend, and perfect boyfriend. Just a perfect life. Well that was until he showed up. No one noticed him. At first.

Chapter 1

I got to class early today. It was a big surprise seeing that my sisters and I are always the last to get to class and the first one to leave. As I was sitting down I noticed something out of the corner of my eye, more of a someone, rather than a something. I wouldn’t have noticed him if he wasn’t starring at me, with those eyes. Eyes that I didn’t think anyone but my sisters and I had. Sapphire eyes that have starred long at a volcanic fissure. It felt as if we were the only two people on Earth. I tried to turn away but I just felt trapped in his gaze. A gaze that could make you break down then rejoice again. He had to be new or I would have noticed someone or something this beautiful.

‘Ring’ ‘Ring’

The bell rung and in came at least a million people, but it didn’t matter because all I saw was him. Not my best friend, or my sisters, not even my boyfriend. Then the teacher walked in it was funny how he was late and not us for a change.

“The Divine sisters,” he says. “It’s nice to see you on time.”

“Well don’t expect to see us this early that often, this was Alisa’s idea,” Allison says angrily still holding a grudge against me for waking her up early.

He frowns. “It’s also nice to know you still have that crappy attitude.”

“And it’s nice to know you might not be getting paid this week.”

Then everyone starts laughing. Last year when our old principal died, for a sudden cause, something maybe Divine, we knew we needed a school with teachers and a principal we could trust, so we found some of our own and we pay them to work here. Somehow it spread across the school.

“Alisa,” Shaun said. “Hey Allison what’s wrong with your sister.”

She looks up from here messed up nail polish. “Y- you, you insecure little bastard. Look what you did. Go sit in the corner you little mutt. Whatever you do just leave me the hell alone.”

“Alana a little help here would be nice,” he say shakily.

Alana looks up. “Yeah, and so would a little peace and quiet.” Then she looked over at me. “Hey Ally, you okay?” She asked in concern. “Ez!”

I look up flushed, and then I remembered that she just called me by my real name. “What did I tell you bout’ using my re- I mean my other nickname,” I say trying to cover up what I just said. What I said is true, it is my other nickname but only to people who are vampyre’s and have known me for a while.

“Sorry,” she mutters.

I glare at her, ready to give the class a little bit of fun. “Well sorry isn’t going to cut it, you’re gonna pay for your mistake.” I smile

She looks at me and smiles, knowing what I’m up to. “Bring it Ezzy,” she says trying to get me fired up.

“Oh you know I always do.”

Then I leap across the desk ready hit her with enough force to hurt her but not enough to kill her.

“Ally, Al not again. Calm down we can fix this. There is no need to fight, remember sisters, peace,” Allison says in a playful tone, and then she joins in the fight.

We had everyone’s attention know, so we headed out to the court yard hoping to grab more interest in people, and that’s just what we did cause the next thing I know teacher’s, student’s, even the whole office and staff members were all watching us fight, chanting who they wanted to win this time.

We were the center of attention, the crowd forming a circle a polite distance away. The three of us were cut up and bruised, and were clearly furious, yet excited too. Our bodies shaking from the emotions running through them. Allison watched us with an animalistic glint to them, stance never moving an inch.

Her blond hair was secured back into a sloppy bun, showing off her rather angular face. I was amused yet shocked to see that they had actually lasted this long in the fight. With her slightly, crouched-ready-to-pounce stance she was actually quite intimidating for the first time ever in my entire life.
