“I can’t believe you gave him your story Rilla, you never even let me read your stories.”
“I know Jesse, I’m sorry I don’t know why I gave him my story, for some reason I just had to give the story to him.”
“It’s ok Hun, I’ll forgive you this time.”
“Thanks,” I smiled at Jesse.
“No worries, anyways Rilla I’m off to the mall with some of the other girls, do you wanna join us?”
“No sorry, I’ve got to get home.”
“You and your studying Rilla! I’ll see you tomorrow, cya”
“Bye Jesse.”
For some reason I just stood there and watched my best friend walk away to hang out with other people. I’m not sure what happened to us, she never hangs out with me anymore, but then I never like to go out and about. I much prefer to spend time in the library or hanging out at home. I mainly hang out by myself and I now realise that this has been happening more over the last 6months to a year. I have no idea how I didn’t realise that my best friend was drifting away from me. I’m not sure how long I stood there staring the way Jesse had disappeared but it felt like hours. I get the feeling that I’ll need Jesse at some point soon, I’m not sure why I had this feeling though.
