I'm scared for this world,
It keeps forgetting,
All that is sacred,
Profound,
And divine.
I’m scared for these people,
They keep thinking,
It’s all in the money,
The power,
The lie.
I’m praying for these souls,
The mistaken ones,
Who’ve lost the light,
In the fight for their image,
For the might.
How can I bear children,
To the World that’s lost
And long forsaken,
Such a thing
As children’s purity?
For all this I weep,
But for one thing outmost;
Will they ever see?
Will they be saved?
Be free?
