Finding a love is something that many people accomplish in a lifetime. We must be careful that the love that we do find is actually true love before we commit ourselves to it completely, because once we have found love in our past, it is easy to want to find it again, and it is easy to fall in love with the idea of being in love, instead of actually being in love itself.
If we are to find love again, our best bet is to first find ourselves, and to live life as ourselves. A lot of times embarking on a journey to finding happiness for ourselves, and following our hearts will put us around people who share a lot of the same qualities we have.
We must also be willing to keep our hearts and our minds open. Many of us will tend to put walls up, and block out people who may be good for us, when we have failed in relationships in the past, and this may limit severely the pool of special people that might have been a great addition to our lives.
