Chapter Fifty-Four

The boys were actually getting along very well so I'm assuming that means Aiden passed Thomas's little test or whatever he did. My sister and I ended up crashing together forcing the boys to share a room too. It was a good thing we decided not to sleep together again until the wedding, even if it is a week, since family was here.

Or maybe it was a good thing they were here because they stopped us.

Mom and Liam showed up bright and early and I introduced Aiden to him and he looked a little scared, he was ex-military and a little intimidating until you got to know him. we left the boys to go Tux shopping while mom took my sister and I out for breakfast and coffee before we went to find a dress, it had to be done today and I would have to pay a ton in rush fees to get it fitted in time.

"So are you sure you're ready for this?" my mother asked and I nodded

"I'm sure. I'm happy mom."  I smiled and she looked at me skeptically

"And you're not pregnant?" she asked and I rolled my eyes

"No, I'm not pregnant, I just love him and we want to get married, we don't want to wait." Do I have to pee on a stick again for them to believe that I am not pregnant?

"Okay." My mom said and I sighed, she didn't believe me.

"Well you'll believe me in two months when I'm not showing because I am not pregnant." I crossed my arms getting annoyed because they didn't believe me.

"Alright." My sister said this time

"What, you think the only way that he'll marry me is if I'm pregnant?" I asked angry and their eyes widened in alarm

"No of course not." My mother said

"Stop over reacting." He sister said and I frowned

"If you're not going to be supportive then go home." I leaned back in my chair

"We are supportive, we're here. Just relax and be a bride for a week." My mom put her hand on mine and I sighed, I've been so on edge, I don't regret it but it's just a lot of stress, planning a wedding in a matter of a few days.

"We're getting married at the glass museum." I changed the subject Aiden and I booked it at the New York museum of glass last night, they had an opening thankfully and it would be a beautiful place to have it.

"Did you pick wedding colors?" My sister asked and I nodded

"Purple and gold."

"Ugh, gold." They said at the same time and I smiled

"It's to go with a royal feel, inside thing between us." I wasn't a fan of gold for jewelry or anything but for a wedding color, well that was fine.

Dresses and Tux were first and tomorrow we would get flowers and do food with the catering company that works with the museum, it was all last minute but the museum was used to things like this and they handled a lot of the details and had their regular caterers to make it easier, hell they even had a regular photographer that they used.

Granted you could use your own but we didn't have time for that and seeing her work, it was beautiful.

We went to a bridal shop and asked me a million questions.

I thought about it and had Eliza meet us here, I know we don't see eye to eye but I didn't want her to feel like I didn't want her around, she was going to be my mother-in-law and we had to learn to get along.

She was pleasant to my mom and sister which was a relief because if she was being a bitch they would have pointed that out.

"What style?" she asked

"Nothing too big, I don't want big at all. I love lace and beading though."

"Intricate not big."

"And it needs to be something that can be rushed Altered by Friday." I said giving it the day before, I don't want to be worried about it on my wedding day.

She gave a low whistle but nodded and put me in dress after dress until I felt like my head was going to explode, is this actually supposed to be fun?

My mom and sister fussed over me, they told me when a dress was ugly and when one looked amazing on me, they were great to have, not too many people. Eliza was being kind and offering her opinion but not overshadowing my mothers

She was being wonderful actually and I hoped that we could continue from here and not take a step back again.

After two hours I was torn between two dresses.

One was a crème color and a lot more simple. It had straps and dipped a little in the front and it hung down, there was lace covering the whole thing and then a bow wrapped around my waist with a low back. it was more simple and I did adore it. Out of the two this one would be easier to alter but I was being drawn to the other dress too.

It was strapless and it was tight to the top of my hips and then loosened, it has floral print lace that was heavier at the bottom and a lot of beading at the tight part in front, and it had a ribbon like thing that went under my chest that made it just pop.

"This is a princess ball-gown." As soon as she said it I decided that it was the one, princess. It was how Aiden narrowed down my ring and it would be how I chose between the two.

"I want this one." I said and the lady nodded and took my measurements and made some calls to see if it would be possible to get done in time. I was ecstatic when she came back and told me that they could do it. I needed to pay a rush fee but I expected that.

I pulled out the card that Jackson, Aiden's father, had given me and paid for the dress without Eliza seeing but I still felt a little weird about it. Would it look like I was out for their money if I used it? Would it offend him if I didn't?

This whole thing gave me a headache.

Next we forced my mother into a dress, Eliza found one and we got my sister a maid-of-honor dress and then Aiden's sister showed up right on time to find her a dress too. They were two of girls and Aiden would have Thomas, two of his best friends and his cousin up there with him. Small wedding party but it's going to be a small wedding.

I was so damn exhausted after today; we crammed so much into one day that I thought I was going to explode.

My grandmother and cousin on my mom's side were going to be here tomorrow and I would get my cousin's dress fitted with Jules's dress and then that would be done, thankfully.

"How did it go?" Aiden asked when I flopped on the couch beside him, my mom and sister doing the same because they were just as tired

"Long." I yawned and he wrapped an arm around me "You're mom was very pleasant." I said and he chuckled

"She would be in trouble if she wasn't." I smiled and leaned against him exhausted

"How are we sleeping tonight?" Leneigh asked and I groaned

"We'll take the couch, you guys can have the beds." I said sliding down into his lap and he laughed lightly as he ran his fingers through my hair. I was nice and relaxed when there was a knock at the door.

I cursed very loudly and colorfully as I shot up from the couch and walked over to the door, this better be damn important. I opened the door and my dad was standing there looking back at me.

Along with my step mother, step sisters, aunt's, cousins, uncles, and grandparents.

I think I'm going to need that guest house after all.
