Rolling churning falling thunder

Smashing roses

Killing laughter

Slitting throats and flipping smiles

Destroying happy ever after

Little girl

Just sitting, waiting

Seeing monsters side by side

Knowing that her faith is shaking

Holding tight to hope and pride

Baby baby in a manger

Softly now his mother sings

Crying at the broken promise

Loyalty through Suffering

Little girl who understands

How earth is crumbling

Thunder loud

Standing though the mountains cave in

Standing fierce and standing proud

Monsters cloaked in heavy darkness

Laugh in triumph at her eyes

Turning little girls to stone

Spilling blood and dripping lies

Tiny fists and thumping heartbeat

“You can’t hurt me,

 You’re too weak.”

Thunder giggles at her wrongness

Pierces her on mountain peaks.

Fallen broken beaten human

Little girl who showed no fear

Bleeding on the inside

Outside

Eyes so brave now filled with tears

World so cruel that quickly ended

The small lifebeat in her heart

Watching Patient

Waiting For

Another life

To tear apart
