I Miss You
I wish I had you here
Right beside me
Now I'm looking at a mere
Photograph of you and me
I miss your smile
I miss your eyes I miss your pathetic lies
I miss the feel of
Your hand in mine
Our fingers entwined
I still have the taste
Of your lips on mine
More exotic than any wine
I miss the feel of your hair
Brushing across my face
While I was lost in this thought
You'd snatch yourself away and I would chase
But now I stay helpless
Cause I couldn't catch you this time
My life is meaningless
I miss you each and every time
I find
My other side of the bed empty
My eyes search for you
Every morning
But it is in vain
And my heart is in pain
To admit that you are gone
And all that I can do is mourn
Your death
Your silence
It's something which is painfully sharp
