MEET MY BEST FRIEND

Chapter Four. BEOM: Hopeless Romantic 

Ngayong nakilala ko na ang family ni Tiffany, wala na kaming ibang poproblemahin kundi ang blind date nina Yonghwa at Seohyun. Dahil sa inumpisahan ng girlfriend ko, damay na din ako dito pero okay lang naman sa'kin. 'Di naman ako galit or naiinis kay Tiff sa ginawa niya. Tama lang naman yun, matagal na kasing walang girlfriend si Yong at ganu'n din si Seohyun. Tsaka, na-meet ko na din ang best friend ni Tiff na si Seo, and for me, bagay sila. 

Nagsabi ako kay Tiffany yesterday na I will come over to her house today para mapagusapan na namin yung sinet-up naming blind date-slash-double date naming magbe-best friends. 

I got to her house 25 minutes ago. I decided to buy Tiff and Chin their favourite bread at Pan de Manila kaya medyo natagalan ako. 

"Hindi pa ba talaga gigising si ChinHae? She's really a great sleeper, huh?" It's already 10am and her sister is still asleep. Maaga nagising si Tiff and she cleaned their house by herself. 

"Nope! Not yet! May tinapos siyang basahin na book kagabi - or should I say kanina. She got to bed super late, 4 in the morning. Grabe nga, eh. Ang tiyaga at ang sipag niyang magbasa. Anyway, it's okay, Babe. She doesn't have classes today kaya pinayagan ko siyang magpa-late ng tulog. Malas niya lang, baka maubusan ko na siya ng breakfast! Hahahahaha! Thanks for this, Baby!" She kissed me on my cheeks and that made me blush. She giggled a little bit and tickled me, naglalambing si Tiffany. I laughed so hard and loud dahil sa pangingiliti niya. 

Sa lakas ng tawanan namin ni Tiff dahil sa harutan, napansin kong may pababa sa hagdan. Nagising ata namin si ChinHae but she isn't aware that I am here. Tuloy-tuloy lang siya sa pagbaba habang kumakamot ng ulo na magulo ang buhok. He looked at us and when she saw me, nanlaki ang mata niya, and said "Ooopppsss!" and then hurried back to her room. Nagtinginan kami ni Tiff sabay tawa sa cuteness ng kapatid niya. 

"Hey, Chin! Ready na ang breakfast! Bilisan mo mag-ayos baka maubusan kita ng favourite bread natin!" Tiffany exclaimed. 

"Yes, eonni! I'll be there in 5 minutes! 'Wag mo ubusin lahat ha? Thank you!" And then Chin shut the door upstairs. 

"Okay, li'l sis. I won't." Tiffany mumbled. Kanina lang sumisigaw siya, ngayon bumubulong na. Ang cute talaga niya. 

I watch how Tiffany eats her favourite Spanish bread, ang hinhin niya kumain. She then sipped at the hot coffee she prepared a while ago. 

Busy ako sa pagtitig sa kanya kaya hindi ko na napansin na bumaba si ChinHae.

"What?" Tiffany asked me. "Hey, Kim Beom! What are you looking at? Hello???!!" 

"Huh?? Ang cute mo lang kasi. Bawal ako tumitig sa girlfriend ko??" I smiled at her. And she just smiled back at me. 

"Ehem. EHEM. GOOD morning." Chin said, emphasizing the word 'good'. 

"Hi, ChinHae! How was the book you've read? What's the story about?" I asked Chin. 

"It was great! It was about the story of a Prom Girl. Am sure you can't relate! It's a girl thing. Hahahahaha! Thanks for the breakfast, anyway!" She said and ate her bread. Magkapareho talaga sila ng way ng pag kain ni Tiff. Ang cute! 

"Ohh. Sure it was good. You won't stay up really late if it wasn't good enough. How was your sleep? Nagising ka ba namin? I'm sorry." I said. 

"Nope. Nanaginip ako, eh. About du'n sa binasa kong book. Hahaha. And the moment you laughed so loud, I thought kasama pa 'yun sa panaginip ko. After that, nagising na ako. So weird." She explained. 

"I am not surprised about that, sis. Sobrang addicted ka na kasi sa book na yun. That's the second book, right?" Tiffany chimed in. 

"Yes. Kasi naman, eh. Dalang-dala ako sa story. It's great talaga." Chin answered. 

We spent the rest of the morning talking about random things and we forgot to talk about the blind date. ChinHae is going to her best friend's house, YunHee (Seohyun's sis) so Tiffany and I decided to go somewhere too. We don't know exactly where pero balak ko siyang dalhin sa isang park na tahimik, perfect for a romantic date. Naisip ko tuloy yung park napinagpipicnikan namin dati ng family ko.

We first went to the grocery store to buy something to eat para mamaya pati na rin mga pwedeng paglibangan. Buti na lang ready ako sa mga ganitong bagay. Hahaha. I have blankets and three throw pillows in my car lagi.
