I used to cut and I found satisfaction from it. I felt like when I ignored the bullies, the alcoholic mom, I would need to feel pain. And it really just got to the point where I did it for every small bad thing that happened.

So I used some things to stop me from hurting myself.

I used to write how I felt in a diary. It was a sence of relief from knowing that I would go home and hurt myself.

Listen to music can distract you and let you know you are not alone. Celebrities went through tough situations and they were able to stand up and say "Fuck you bullies."

Talk to someone you trust. It can be a friend, a parent, a cat or dog. Whoever. Just make sure you trust them.

Ask yourself why you self harm anymore. Is it just to relieve pain? If it is please talk to someone.

I went to a small therapy group in my town where I met a majority of my friends today. They talk about self harm, suicidal thoughts and any problems you might have.
