Hopes & dreams kept falling one by one
Rose petals never finding the sun
Until she had enough..
Her kindness mistaken for weakness
Her stubborness recognized as selfishness
But in fact she was just being tough
A light that's been turned off
A voice that's been silenced
Just found a way to shine through
She won't take anymore shit from anyone
& treating you as you deserve isn't being mean
She learned all the words of your play , knows by heart every scene
You may have been a moon in her dark sky once, but that act is done
She knows what's her worth
And what she's capable off
Your words won't get to her anymore
You may try to fool her again
Acting like you care
But she can see right through you ,it's never going anywhere
That ship has sailed and sunk
Now she's following her dreams
Finding inner peace
That withering rose just found everlasting sunbeams :)
