More (Outrageous) Teen Years

CH. 3 *The Note From Kyle*

   I look down at the note in my desk and my heart beat 500 times a minute. I grab the note and slowly open it.

"Meet me @ the lockrz aftr skool"

I read it outloud to myself in a whisper. I read it one last time and my heart beat goes from 500 times a minute to 0 times a minute. Kyle..the hottest guy in school is asking me a somewhat low class girl to meet him after school....crap.

* 2 hours later*

"WHAT?!" Faye yells.

"Yeah heres the note," I hand the perfectly folded note to her. I had messed with it and re-folded it about 100 times. She reads it and smiles. She most definitally did not belive me i wouldnt have belived me either. In a way i was so happy...and in another way i was scared to death. Faye gets up 5 seconds before the bell rings for lunch I follow. We walk in the lunchroom, I was wacthing and waiting. Kyle eventually walks past me..staring?...and smiling? Was there something on my face what my hair messed up. I fidgit with my hair untill he turns around and continues walking.

"Thats odd..." my thoughts slip my lips.

"What is?" Faye sayd confused.

"He's..He's staring at me." I say, my eyes glued to him

"ooooh he is isnt he? she smiles

"y-yeah...he is" my voice shaky

"When we finish eating I'm going home" Faye looks down and messes with her purse.

I laugh.

"Haha why"  I reply

"Its not funny my mom needs me home" she snaps.

"Oh...what does she need?.

"She need them?'

"Faye would you just cut it out and tell me?"

"SHE NEEDS THE DRUGS...ok?" She looks away

"Ya? where do you get them?" I ask

"You actually want some" She looks at me agravated

"NO! I'm just asking" I raise my voice then soften my face

"My....unlce..." she looks down

"Well im coming with" I say

"Uh no your not I'm not gunna put you through that" she waits..."and what about Kyle?"

"He'll have to wait so you have no choice." I say smiling. Before she could say another word I grab her arm and we run out the school doors.
