As we walked down the street and rounded the corner, Heath’s house came into view and I felt my adrenaline spike up a couple of notches. Yeah, hiding out in one of your best friend’s closet will do that to you. I actually couldn’t wait to see all that we would learn. I mean those two are the gayest gay boys that I know so if they couldn’t teach us a thing or two then I don’t know who can.

I’m sure if we just sat them down and asked them to tell us how to be gay then they would do it but it wouldn’t be anywhere near as fun as it would be to spy on them, plus there wouldn’t be any chance of finding out some kind of embarrassing act that we could blackmail them with later.

“How exactly are we going to get in his closet?” Lance stopped a few houses down from Heath’s and turned to me with a raised eyebrow.

“Oh, right.” I mumbled. Damn, why did Lance not already have this figured out?! “You should have thought about that, huh?”

“ME?!” He scoffed and rolled his eyes, “This was your brilliant idea, Ryder.”

“Our idea!” I crossed my arms with a narrowed look at my boyfriend. Huh, boyfriend. Wow. I really need to get used to that! Lance is not my best friend anymore but now my boyfriend. That is just…weird!

“Whatever, Ryder. Stop looking at me like your getting ready to lick me to death and figure out how we get in his closet.” He gave me a knowing look and I blushed. Psh! Like I would ever lick him!

I rolled my eyes and grabbed my phone out of my pocket, flicking it open and texted Heath. After a moment I closed it and grinned at Lance. “Done.”

“What did you do?” I grabbed Lance’s hand and tugged him over behind a tree.

“Told him to meet me and you at the park down the street.” I shrugged and looked toward Heath’s house. It didn’t take long before I saw his front door opening and Heath and Daniel emerge, laughing and holding hands as they walked the opposite way.

“Let’s go.” We hurried the rest of the way to Heath’s house, pausing outside of his door. I opened it slowly and looked around. When I didn’t see Heath’s mom and dad around, I pulled Lance behind me down the hall and into the first bedroom on the right.

The first thing I noticed was how clean everything was. The bed was made, no dirty clothes on the floor, not even a few school books holding up a wobbly desk. Jeez, if being clean is one requirement to being gay then I’m so failing that one! Shit, can you even fail at being gay? Hmm, I hope not…

“What a freak.” Lance laughed behind me, looking around and I nodded my head. Obviously, we were on the same page here.

“Come on before someone comes in.” I said, making my way to the closet. I opened the door and motioned for Lance to go in first. I followed him and closed the door, submerging us into darkness.

“Um, Ryder?”

“Yeah.”

“How the hell are we suppose to see anything in here?!” Lance shook his head or at least I’m assuming he did, considering I couldn’t see any damn thing in here. I did however, notice how freaking close we were, our bodies pushed tightly together.

“I don’t know. In the movies, all the closets have those long slot things on them for you to see the killer through! Fuck Heath and his messed up house.” I grumbled, opening the door slightly for us to be able to see out of.

A thin light shone through and I glanced at Lance, “Move back some man. I know I’m hot but business before pleasure.” I hissed, shoving him backwards. He moved an inch before hitting the wall and I snickered at the frustrated look on his cute face. Awe, god! Did I seriously think cute face?! He’s so turning me gay!
