Lies.
When men own us, who are we?
They make us feel small like a pea,
Hidden in his shadow,
Asking for just an answer of “no”,
When men own the World,
Where are we?
Under the covers curled,
Nothing could be scarier to she,
Why hide who we are?
To those who gave us scars?
The pain the misery,
The pain is history.
We lie for safety,
We lie for comfort,
We show our naivety,
We hide our discomfort,
Behind all the Lies.
