Never Ending (The Attys)
What if there was never an end?
No last meals, final deals, and books with happy ever after?
A never ending pencil or maybe a pen, perhaps?
A notebook, a sketchpad, a battery that would always last.
Food supplies for everyone, to never go away,
Seasons never drifting away.
Sports games never finish,
Nor tests and homework too.
Clothing that never wears out
And tunes that are eternal.
What if there was never an end,
And endings never existed.
Our time would fly and never die,
Our lives in no way concluding.
These words sound silly,
You think I’m just foolish
But what if this all was true?
All we knew was just a dream,
A dream on a continuous loop.
