{Chapter 11} I am Not Just Your Little Puppet

              You and Kankuro sat there panting like dogs. You were sprawled out on your back in the grass and he was sitting against a tree.

            "Seriously Shizuri, you're getting stronger every day." Kankuro huffed. You half giggled.

            "Or you're just getting weaker." You instigated with a smirk while sitting up. He glared playfully and threw himself forward, tackling you back down in the grass. The two of you laughed and playfully pushed each other around.

            It was only a couple days until the final round of the Chuunin exams and you had been training with Kankuro for the past three weeks.

            You both were now side by side on your backs, still slightly giggling and watching the colourful clouds drift by in the sunset sky. You rolled over so your body was half on his and your chin resting on his chest.

            "So when are you going to teach me that puppet master jutsu hmm?" Your eyes glowed with interest. Kankuro huffed.

            "Why do you want to learn it so bad anyways?"

            "Cuz I need it." You pouted. He rolled his eyes.

            "Well when you show me what you need it for then I'll teach it to you." He smiled and stood up, bringing you with him without even trying. "Anyways, I need a shower." He exclaimed while heading in the direction of his hotel.

            "I wouldn't go there. Gaara and Adira are at the hotel, and god knows what they're doing." You stated and quivered at the thought.

            "Well lets go shower at your place then. We can save water by showering together." Kankuro winked while you just rolled your eyes and pushed his shoulder.

            "Yeah no. Takeshi is there with your sister. You already know what's going to happen when he sees you with me." You could just picture your brother in your head chasing Kankuro around the apartment. You looked at his bewildered face when suddenly you got an idea. "I know! C'mon, follow me!" You grabbed Kankuro's hand and sped off towards the woods with him in tow.

            "Wow." Was all Kankuro could say while you both stood in front of a small spring in the woods. Complete with a small waterfall. You smiled calmly up at him.

            "Yeah, I usually come here to have some alone time and just think." Your eyes drifted over the water and you started taking off your clothes. Kankuro's eyes widened.

            "W-What are you doing!?" He exclaimed, his cheeks turning a light shade of pink.

            "Going for a swim, what does it look like? Relax I have a bra and underwear on." You chuckled, though glad that you decided to wear your nice matching undergarments today. "Besides, you said you needed a shower, so let's go!" Kankuro stared at your half naked body as you walked up to him. You placed your hands on his shoulders and pulled his shirt off. He blushed even harder.

            "Okay! I can undress myself!" He sounded frantic and you laughed. Just as he had everything but his boxer shorts off, you winked at him and dove into the water. He waited for you to resurface, and when you did you gave him a huge splash.

            "Oh you're gonna get it!" He snickered and jumped in after you. You both laughed and splashed each other and you started trying to swim away towards the waterfall. "Oh no you don't! Get back here!" Kankuro caught your ankle just before the waterfall and pulled you towards him, then grabbed your waist and held your body against his. You both blushed and stared at each other.
