The happy dwarf

There once was a dwarf called Honeydew. He was a happy chap who loved to sing and mine. He was such a happy chap. That when he was born the king and queen visited his parents with happy news.” Parents of Honeydew we are delighted to announce that because your son is such a good and jolly fellow we would like him to come and live with us in the palace and you can come to until he is a adult” Honeydew’s parents were so happy they yelled out and danced.

Honeydew was finally 10 he had lived his life being treated like a prince and he was happy so very happy that the happiness he already had inside him grew to be huge. One day a tiny child dwarf appeared before him and asked, “Please sir could you ask the king something? “

“Sure what do you want me to ask him?” Honeydew asked

“My mamma is very ill and there is only one thing that can cure her and that is in a dungeon in a prison cell in the dragons lair!” yelled the little kid.

Honeydew set of at once towards the king’s chambers he knocked on the door 5 times and waited suddenly he heard a voice

“Honeydew come in,” cried the king in his crisp voice; because he was getting old.

“Mighty king I have a problem there is a kid dwarf and his mother is ill and there is only one cure” Yelled Honeydew getting exited.

“Someone is ill and there is only one cure, well what is this cure?” asked the king in his croaky crisp voice

“It is in a cell in the dragons lair,” replied Honeydew

“A dragons lair Honeydew you must go at once” said the king

“Me why must I go? I am only 10 I am nothing like you!” asked Honeydew

“Honeydew ok at me. I am old and grim but you are young and the happiest dwarf alive you must go!”

“Go kill that DRAGON!!!!!” Yelled the king

Honeydew was just saying good bye to his parents when the kid dwarf he had talked to approached him and asked

“Honeydew is not the king going to help my mother”

“No but I am. The king has given me his might axe and battle hammer and he has given me his fastest and bravest horse I have also brought my own bow with a whole heap of arrows” And with that he rode away on the kings stallion away he would go and kill that dragon and get the cure.
