Alice Parker: True Life

          I stayed up most of the night; thinking almost about everything. I wonder to myself if the academy even knows about the lab. They should, but with different names and not even being involved with the academy. What about the rabbits they test on? What happens to them after they've been injected? When looking closely at one of the cubicles I saw one of the rabbit's eyes turn from brown to blue. More like, Chrystal blue; just like my eyes. Surely that's a side effect to it, which means I have the T-virus inside. With this thought I was deciding if it was a good thing, or if it's not and I can turn into something terrible. That's most likely not going to happen, or it would have before in my life. With that thought I held the gold locket that was around my neck, I slowly opened it and looked at the two pictures.

          "Wait, I was supposed to do something. What was it? Oh yeah, I had to call Ryan once I arrived," I told myself. I quickly went over to my case and searched for the phone. Slowly Flynn woke up and gave a small yawn. I took a glance at him.

          "Did I wake you?" I tell him in a soft voice. He just laid his head down and watched what I was doing. Giving Flynn a smile, I got the phone and looked for his number. Sitting next to Flynn while petting him I called Ryan. It rang for a moment, then he answered.

          "Hello?" he said.

          "Hey, Ryan it's Alice. How's it going there?" I replied. Flynn looked at me wondering who I was talking to. He never got the talking to the phone to another person concept. He slowly looked around the room, then looked back. I continued to pet him.

          "Oh hey Alice! It's going okay here, the usual. How's it in England so far?" Ryan asked with a curious tone.

          "Its going fine here, found out a couple of things and just keep getting more questions to ask," I tell him as I slowly turn to lay down.

          "That must be fun. Do you think you can call in a while? Have to go to some place with my mom," he muttered. I gave a small laugh as Flynn turns his head looking confused.

          "Okay then, have fun!" I say then hang up right after. I checked the time and saw it was nine at night here. There wasn't that much I could do now, I wouldn't bother going out in the dark here. So, I sat up and thought of something to do. I knew Flynn couldn't live without his toys and I forgot to take them out before I left. He watched me as I got up and walked over to the case. There I took out his favorite ball, a small rope, some chew toys and a stuffed animal of mine that he loves to play with. Once Flynn saw what I had taken out; he quickly stood up and ran to the toys. By the looks of his small tail wagging I could see he was happy. Giving a smile I walked over and sat on the edge of the bed. Flynn picked up the small red ball and walked over and set the ball in front of me. When I reached over to grab the ball, Flynn walked back and watched. Throwing wasn't an option while being in the room, so I rolled the ball towards the door. He quickly leaped over and stopped the ball, then started walking around showing off. This is what makes Flynn my friend; a funny puppy who loves to show off his toys.

          After a while Flynn stayed and chewed on his chew toys. It seemed to be getting late. So, for the first time I got in the bed. It was so soft that I sank in just a little. Instantly I fell asleep. 

          The next morning I woke up around eight in the morning. This was probably the latest I've woken up at. Slowly rubbing my eyes while sitting up, I saw Flynn had fallen asleep surrounded by his toys. I stood up and fixed the bed, before I went to see which door in the room was the bathroom. I probably should have done this before. The first door was a small storage closet; so I walked over to the only door it could have been and found the bathroom. It looked like an ordinary bathroom with a cream colored sink and white walls. The shower curtains were also cream colored. Not to mention the floor tiles were also cream colored, but with a red mat.
