Quiet despair seeps into the cracks of her skin,
White lights slowly fade into dark images.
Look into her eyes, see her spirit screaming
Flames engulf her mouth, burning her words before they can escape.
Hands behind her back, walking to the edge
She turns around at a sound
He is behind her, crying at her desolate frame.
Her wings drop even lower, caressing the shaking ground,
Groaning under the weight of this fallen angel.
Selfishly jaded he brought her this low.
Silently she walks back to him,
Tears stream into the pool created by the hole in her heart,
Hollow lies trace the broken halo.
She hugs him tightly, knowing she'd forgiven him long before
He didn't need to ask again.
She gently kisses his cheek,
Leaving an imprint of his adultery on his skin.
Turning around, she faces the edge again.
She never looks back as he goes to the one he did not love more.
The abyss swallows the fallen angel as she dries her tears,
Walking to the edge again.
She is lost within the tragic loss of others,
Burying her underneath the cold mind of a heartless hell.
Her head in her hands,
She is bound to face her own obession,
Her desire to love.
Quiet despair seeps into the cracks of her skin,
And her wings, fall to the ground.
