World Hero

"Uggghhh..." That was the only words (although Zombieish) that came out of my mouth. I looked around. The sunlight ripping throuch the curtains gave me the biggest whiplash ever. I was on the top bunk, head and arms dangling to the ground. I pulled myself up and walked to the bathroom.

By the time I had unzipped my pants, I was already on the ground puking my guts out. That was why 15 year old kids shouldn't be getting drunk. After taking a quick shower and changing, I looked alot better, and felt a bit less worse. I walked to the fridge to get breakfast (yes, yet another day had past) and noticed that the answering machine flashing a red light.

I pressed the on button. There were two messages. The first one was from Seth: Hey man. Got caught up in some crap. Not gonna tell you what you'll know soon enough. The next one was from, supposedly, the Housekeeper. You and me, my friend, have to have a little talk. Meet me in my office at ten o'clock this morning. It was 9:45, and I had no idea how big this place was, or where his office was.

I ran out the door and into a long hallway. There was no one there except a naked man sitting down at the end of the hallway. What the f**k?

I got a closer look at him as I walked over to him. He was in a daze. His eyes were puffy and red. He was clearly high. He was very dirty and typically didn't shave down there. " Can you tell me where the office is?"

"Go down 6 floors and turn to your right." He said in a hoarse voice, not even looking up at me. I passed about 6 people, all from different nationalities, while walking to the office. The hallways were a creamy white, with chocolate brown stripes. A warm yellow glow came from the hanging lights.

I arrived and open the wooden door to the office. Seth was sitting in one of the two chairs in front of a man with short salt and pepper hair. His glare was piercing. His purple eyes seemed to follow Kyle's every move as he sat down. " Welcome to the World Manor!" He said in a deep voice that didn't at all go with his purple polka dotted suit and tie. Kyle realized he was facing the man who had shot him out off the bridge.

Kyle had other things to talk about. " Did you f**kin' bring me here?! You shoot me in the neck and then you say 'Welcome'?"

"You're gonna die anyway! So what does it change?"

This time Seth spoke up. " How do you know we will die? Just cause were younger and alot more civilized then anybody in this shithole? Forget you! I could win this with my eyes closed!"

" You shut your mouth, Mr. Gregory! You already got in a fight with Pirate in the courtyard, don't start another! You kids can't win. You won't even make it to the Top 20. This is a fact. Now leave before I get you killed, personally. The camera's have been rolling since you were picked up on the highway and arrived here. People have been watching. They have seen your friend here get his ass kicked by a 41 year ol-"

Seth got up and jabbed the Housekeeper three times in the face. Seth had effectivley gotten beat up. His hair was ruffled, and his lip was bloody and swollen. The man fell to the ground. Seth went around the desk and went to punch him again, out of pure rage, but Kyle caught him. This all happened in a few seconds.

"Calm down, man! Calm down!" Kyle screamed over the growling sounds Seth was making.

"I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL KILL YOU YOU ASSHOLE! COME AT ME YOU PUNK! I'LL WIN THIS CRAP OF YOURS! I'LL WIN! I'll win..." His voice trailed of into a sob as he fell, to his knees, crying. Kyle checked if the man was okay (he was knocked out) and returned to Seth. He held his head between his hands. " I can't win. I just wanted to prove to everyone that I wasn't a total loser.That's all I wanted."

"It's okay..." Kyle reassured. "No one thinks your useless. Man up, the cameras are rolling."

Seth grinned a little, and wiped the tears from his eyes. He asked Seth to give him a moment , and Kyle walked out. People all over North America saw this through there electronic devices; "Film this, you lazy sack of shi-" Seth's fist went through the camera, and televisions all over the world went black.
