Chapter Thirteen

It was Friday and Jeremy was glad that he was done work for the weekend. He needed a break from it. As each day passed he was growing more and more impatient. He missed Elizabella more than he should so he was glad when Mabel texted him requesting that he meet up with her at their usual spot.

Jeremy finished work an hour early so he decided he couldn't wait around for another hour. He went to their usual spot and got a head start without her not caring if she would mind. He was to anxious and worked up so he needed to let it out. He got the overly powerful feeling of being high from the transformation of shifting into his wolf form and growled loudly in pleasure as he felt all of the bones and muscles in his body crack and stretch out as they reformed themselves.

Jeremy's front paws hit the ground with a loud thud; he could feel his claws dig deep into the soil. You could almost feel the earth beneath him shake as his transformation was coming to an end. Jeremy's mouth began to salivate uncontrollably as he felt more in tune with his animalistic side. He didn't need to see himself to know that his eyes were already glowing with power and that any wolf would feel the need to bow to him if they were too see him.

He lifted his snout upwards and let out a bone chilling howl once the transformation was complete. He didn't waste another minute before taking off on his four paws deeper into the forest. He blew past the trees with unfathomable speed. The wind was blowing through his fur and his nostrils were filled the fresh scent of wet dew from the grass beneath him.

To say Jeremy was having an adrenaline rush from everything was understatement. He would never grow tired of this side of himself. He felt powerful and dominate in every possible aspect which is what he truly craved almost as much as he craved Elizabella.

Jeremy's fun soon came to an end when he sensed something following him. He didn't slow his pace though. He wanted to make sure who was following him before he turned around to sink his canines into whatever or whoever it was. After a few moments of still blazing through the trees he realized that whatever was behind him was not Mabel. As soon as he came to this conclusion he immediately let his instincts take control.

Jeremy quickly flipped around without any type of warning and scanned the area slowly for the threat. He knew it was there, he could almost sense their fear. He heard something move to left of him but he acted as if he heard nothing. He was playing them out so they would make the first move.

After a few more moments they did exactly what he knew they would do. The wolf that was tail gating Jeremy flew out from behind a tree and tried to make a quick snap at Jeremy's neck but he was to quick since he expected such a direct move. He quickly tilted his head to the side so his attacker would miss only by a mere inch. Jeremy smiled to himself as he leaped forward to get his move in.

When Jeremy launched forward he was able to get a decent grip on the wolf's hind leg. He let his canines sink deep into it's flesh which made the wolf cry out in pain but this wolf was strong so it quickly recovered and yanked it's leg back from Jeremy's grip. They were now facing each other. Both were baring their teeth and growling deeply. They danced around each other in a circle waiting for one to make another move.

Jeremy was never one to back down so he stood his ground and refused to make the next move. The other wolf would be expecting it. Jeremy knew the wolf would give in shortly so he was patient as he eyed his prey. After a few more minutes of baring teeth the wolf leaped forward at Jeremy trying to snap at anything it could sink it's canines in to. Jeremy's reflexes were to enhanced though so the wolf's snaps were quite amusing to him.
