A/N: I started writing this in the computer labs at uni- that's dedication.

LOLA POV:

“LA.” Gemma answers me with a sad smile.

“What?” My voice cracks, despair taking over my face as my stomach sinks. Why is the timing never right for us? This is such a fucking joke, I just need him to be mine already for fucks sake.

“I’m just kidding, I actually don’t know where he is. Give me a sec.” She grabs her phone off the table and starts typing, showing me her screen after a few moments.

@GemmaAnneStyles: Urgent- where’s my brother at the moment?

“Now we wait.” She bites her lip, staring at the screen.

My heart is thumping in my chest, nerves wrack my body and the butterflies in my stomach are alive and well, pounding the walls of my stomach as though their life depended on it.

“Press Conference at the Savoy.” Gemma says after a moment, causing us both to jump out our seats.

“I have an idea.” We walk hastily through the restaurant out onto the street, both of us practically galloping down the sidewalk to my car. “You drive.” I chuck her the keys, she’s not the greatest driver- she hasn’t had her license very long but she likes to speed and that will come in handy today.

“Oh my god I’m so excited.” She squeals, jumping into the driver’s seat and slamming the car door shut, pulling out onto the road before I’ve barely shut my door.

“Take this street.” I point to the left and she goes right.

“No trust me it’s this way.” She hisses, biting down on her lip hard in concentration. I can’t sit still, every nerve ending in my body is electrified with anticipation and I’m bobbing up and down in the seat like a lunatic.

“That way is quicker!” I argue, looking down the street we should’ve taken longingly.

We’re stuck in traffic behind a car trying to turn and I can’t handle this stress of waiting. “Fucking go around!” I yell at her and she glares at me, pulling out. The sound of tyres screeching and cars beeping fills our ears and I scream in terror as Gemma turns way too fast into a narrow street.

“Look it’s there, on the left!”

“Where am I supposed to pull up?” She screeches, the car is going way too fast and I seriously fear for my life as she slams on the breaks right outside the Savoy Hotel. “Get out! I’ll meet you in there!” She pushes me and I jump out of the car, running through the lobby till I’m stopped by security.

“Press pass?” The unfamiliar security guard asks me.

“I don’t have one, I’m not press.”

“Then I can’t let you through Miss. Strictly press only.”

“Please, the love of my life is behind those doors.” I strain my voice, putting on my best pout and puppy eyes.

“I’ve heard that one before from about 1000 other teenage girls.”

“Do I look like a teenage girl? Please, I know them, trust me, just let me back there.”

“I’m sorry Miss, it’s against the rules.” He says, giving me a sympathetic smile.

“Look I need to get in there, what’s it going to take? Money?  Do I have to flash you? What do you want?!”

“That won’t be nec-“ He begins but he’s distracted by the appearance of a feisty blonde at my side.

Gemma.
