In the midst of the storm the eye shall see
unmarked beauty, unmarred love.
Endless spell is cast, time itself is lost,
and the Earth stands still.
Summer soars and pulls you along.
Fall gives you your last light.
Winter glistens like an endless night,
and Spring brings it back to life.
Shallow waves swallow the shells.
Footprints in the sand are washed away,
only to be remade.
The moon pulls the tide and stars sprinkle the sky.
And as last breath is taken,
the world says goodbye.
