What Makes You Beautiful : a 1D fanfic

Crunch-crunch.

To me, my yellow converse are perfect - making the beautiful crunch across the rugged asphalt. I'm strutting into Nando's with my four best friends, whom I also happen to live with in a beautifully modern hotel here in London. To my left there's Brynn and Stacy and to my right there's Jennifer and Amber. 

Guess who's in the middle of it all? 

Me. I'm Paisley Smith - but you can call me Paz. I'm currently only 19, but I'll be 20 in a few months. Out of my 4 best friends, I must say that Ambearr has ALWAYS been there for me when I needed her. Let me tell you about my friends, starting with Brynn. Brynn is a typically quiet girl, with shoulder-length auburn hair and sunkissed skin.

 She's is the youngest out of our group - she's only 18. Jennifer has long red hair that stretches out to her hips and the most magical little freckles that sit upon her snowy complexion. She's 19, like me. Next is Amber - also called "Ambearr". She has flawless caramel colored skin and a full head of shiny, voluminous black hair. She uses her beauty to her advantage and flirts almost all the time. 

Oh, Stacy!

 Stacy has a sleek, black rihanna-type bob and fair skin topped off with slate grey and blue sparkling eyes and dimples.  I, however, am the only one with sparkling emerald colored eyes and an almond brown pixie cut. One thing we all have in common, though, is that we're totally OBSESSED with One Direction!

"Paz...hello? EARTH TO PAZ!" I whipped my head around only to see the manicured hand of stacy waving in front of my face.

 "Errr... yes," I questioned shyly. Amber told me that we would either have to wait an hour to eat or...  share a table in the back with a group of guys. 

 "I already said we'd share, Paz. Let's go sit," commanded Amber. 

We nodded and we quickly followed her like little ducklings to the back of the restaurant. As we approached, one of the guys looked up at us and simply said hello and then dropped his eyes back to his menu. They look familiar... Jen started to gab away to the five strange boys while I sat there, suspicious. Who are they? 

He looks kind of like Niall and that  one chomping an onion ring looks kind of like Zayn-- I decided to see if it was really them.

I casually said,"Hey Niall." As soon as he heard the name, onion ring guy whipped his head up. "Yes?"

Aha! Wait... that means...!! I'M HAVING LUNCH WITH ONE DIRECTION! HOLY SHIT!

Harry sighed and whispered something to the others while me and MY group were fangirling inside - I could almost see the 1D logo jumping out of Stacy's ears! The boys turned back to us with a smirk.

"Ah, so you're smart. That's good! Heh heh," chuckled Liam. "Carrots." Me and Brynn giggled at how cute Louis' carrot obsession is. A waitress finally sashayed over to us to take her order when she glanced at their faces.

"HOLY -- IT'S ONE DIRECTION!!!" Shit. So much for being on the 'down low'! Zayn looked at us desperately for about 5 seconds before he begged us to let them stay at our place for a while. I sighed and agreed to let them stay for a few days. As we were getting up, Hazza came over and hugged me. I stood there registering what just happened when brynn's hand yanked me just barely in front of the stampede. We zoomed outside, trying to find our pickup.

"It's over here! Hurry your slow arses up or we'll never make it," yelled Jen. We all sprinted towards the truck. The boys hopperd quickly in the back while we slid in the front. Once Stace got the little Toyota going, I leaned back to talk to the boys. "Lean low - literally," I hissed. The boys leaned down and that was fine. Until Lou decided to scream about his love of carrots. Oh, lord help us!

We parked in the back of the hotel as quickly as possible before unloading the boys. Amber unlocked the back door for us so we could sneak in unnoticed. We hopped in the elevator, trying to get to floor 16 before anyone saw us! The tiny screen blinked once and stated that the load was,"too large" and that we needed to take the stairs. Jen groaned in disgust as we trooped over 140 stairs. By the time we reached suite number 65, we were all gasping for air.
