"I was falling for Zaiden....and there was nothing I could do about it....."
I cupped Zaiden’s cheek “you know its not you” I said quietly.
“Oh yeah, real original the whole its not you it’s me” he grunted.
“Zaiden, you don’t get it” I said pushing my body away from his and standing up “it’s not easy for me to trust someone” I said clutching my bag in my hand.
“What have I done to make you not trust me” he said.
I ran a hand through my hair “its not about what you’ve done…its about what you’ll do.” I admitted my heart clenching.
“I w-want to trust you, but Zaiden…Its just everybody I've trusted hurts me….or shows me a reason not to trust them” I said clenching my fists.
Zaiden stood up wrapping his arms around my waist; he pulled my body close to his so every part of my body was touching his.
“Please” he pleaded leaning down so his nose was touching mine he rubbed it against mine “please, I promise not to hurt you….” He cupped my cheeks “I would never intentionally hurt you.” He said. I gulped, so much honesty in his eyes, so much sincerity. I don’t think he would hurt me intentionally.
“I-I trust you” I said staring into his eyes “just….Please, don’t hurt me…” I said honestly.
A flash of guilt shot through his eyes “I won’t…I promise”
He pressed his lips to my cheek I closed my eyes.
My heart felt like it was melting and for the first time in my life I wasn’t scared to give him my trust. Hell, anything he asks me ill tell him the truth.
I irrevocably trusted this boy in front of me, and I honestly think I am falling for him.
And that scared me more than anything in the world.
But the thought of Zaiden being with me, and him knowing I trust him…nothing else mattered.
I was falling for Zaiden.
And there was nothing I could do about it.
“I want lots of balloons” I said bouncing up and down on the stop.
“Oh?” the boy behind the counter asked.
I nodded “Yep” I said popping the ‘p’ “lots and lots and lots of colours, see, I'm having this surprise party for this dude named Zaiden. I want his name in the balloons probably silver balloons or pink…..oh, men don’t like pink. Do you like pink? No of course you don’t, I mean sometimes I don’t like pink. My favourite colour is purple”
“Urm,” he said “are you drunk?”
“No, I just had coffee….loads of it” I said leaning over taking a balloon and wrapping it around my wrist “will I get my balloons?” I questioned.
He nodded “yeah, just slip your number onto this” he said handing me a paper and pen I scrawled my number onto it “call me when the balloons are ready” I said bouncing out of the shop.
“Zaiden hurry up!” Celeste ordered from outside the closet.
I grunted “I cant get my trousers on” I said jumping up and down trying to pull my trousers up.
Celeste sighed pulling open the door and storming in she walked towards me and wrapped her arms around my waist causing sparks to erupt all around me she pulled them up and it slid up like butter.
She grinned up at me “there you go child” she said mocking pecking my lips.
“Where are we going anyway?” I questioned.
“Just to restaurant, I mean it’s your birthday; why should we stay at home?” I questioned.
I held Celeste’s hand she had put a blindfold on me while we were half way through the drive.
I felt her lips press onto my cheek “wait there” she said.
I nodded; I heard a door open and close and then a door open. Then I felt her hand slip around mine “You can get out now” she said.
