A young girl in a dress more brown than red..

a bow in her hair, a heart in her hands.

The drums of autumn beat fierce with the sounds of nature.

the child raises a foot on the alabaster marble of the last step of...

...The holy temple of Gods and Godesses.

She lay before them in all her innocence crying out.

she sings an angelic tune of raw emotion and strife..

of love and longing, of hate and resentment.

An all powerful voice rising above the stained glass windows..

piercing the beating hearts of scribes and lords alike.

This girls voice carries her song of love to the heavens

as her cresendo rose, she fell...

on her knees, her heart in hands, a single, salty tear dripping down her soft flesh.

The child screams her song to the Gods

her tune now blind fury.

At long last her small pink mouth is silenced

with a simple  'amen'

ending the girls prayer.
