Though I do understand I let you guys down as a writer by taking an unauthroized break, you guys sort of let me down as readers. Over 8000 reads. Under 100 votes last time I checked. Seriously? That is SOOOO discouraging. Though I am EXTREMELY grateful you guys are all reading, I am just need to know if you actually liked what you read and if you dont vote I assume its bad and I get down and myself and then I stop updating and  BLAH BLAH BLAH. One person actually commented on this and was like "I cant read this anymore, the amount of reads are getting to your head, just be thankful for what you have". Granted, I am EXTREMELY thankful ya'll are reading my story in the first place, but I might start doing what other writers do where they set a number of votes they have to have before an update. I'm not trying to be mean! I just would appreciate if you clicked the VOTE button! Thank you! Hope you understand! But I will be on vacation this week, so an update might be delayed. If some parts are a bit weird in this chapter, it was because I wrote half of it when I was sick and half of it at 3 in the morning, just a warning. So, please vote more and pass the word on that I am back and keeping up with my story again! I think I lost a lot of readers! Love you guys

Sorry if this chap is a bit short too! I had to finish it before I went on vacation...

The sun shines brightly through the window. It takes me a second or two to realize exactly where I am. I rub my eyes and look over at all of the other sleeping girls. Looks like Cassie and Amber are already out of bed. I tiptoe out of the room and let Lily and Alexx have their beauty sleep.

I go to the kitchen and grab an apple. Foster is in the room.

"Hey Addie, what up?"

"I was going to ask you the same thing." I say smiling.

"Huh?" he asks.

"When are you going to ask Lily out?"

"I don't know what you're talking about..." the boy says, obviously in denial.

"Seriously, Foster?"

"Is it that obvious?"

"To everybody else but her. I know she likes you too, though! Make a move!"

"She likes me? Really?"

"Yes. Now where is everybody else?"

"All the other guys are asleep. Cassie got up to run. I tried to keep up with her, but...no. Amber is out in the shallow end of the lake doing God knows what. She's a bit freaky..."

"Who? Amber?"

"Yeah."

"Why do you say that?"

"Go outside and see for yourself."

I walk out the back door to the lake. Amber is in a hot pink, bejewelled one-piece with cut-outs on the sides. She is jumping up and down in the water looking like an idiot.

"Amber? What are you doing?"I ask her.

"Oh, not you too!" she says.

"What?"

"Don't give ne that look that Foster gave me! I'm perfectly normal!"

"No, you're not. Normal people don't jump up and down in the shallow end of a lake whilst making loud grunting sounds. It sounds like you're having sex or something!" I say.

"Been there, done that." Amber says with a wink.

"Haha, you're funny. Seriously, what are you doing?" I ask her.

Amber leans to the side in a crescent moon shape and pulses back and forth. She then jogs in place. "Water Aerobics!" she answers with a big smile.

"Why?"

"Isn't that what pregnant people do?"

"I guess. Sometimes. I don't know, but Foster was right, it is a little bit freaky."

"Oh, come on!"

"Bye!" I say with a wave.

"One, two, three. One, two, three." she counts as I walk away. She's actually sort of weird. Not your stereotypical slut.

I walk back in the back door to the kitchen.

"What did I tell you? Am I right or am I right?" Foster says.

"About what?" Lily says. She is now awake, too.

"Amber being freaky."

"Why is she freaky?" Lily asks.

"Two words." I say.

"Water aerobics." Foster says with a visible shudder.

"She's really taking this pregnant thing seriously." Lily says.

"I know! We could put her on that TV show!" says Foster.

"What show?" I ask.

"Teen mom 2?" asks Lily.

"No, what comes before that! Hmm...I'm having a brain fart." Foster says.

"I hate when that happens." Lily says sympathetically.

"Ooh! 17 with fetus?" Foster says.

"What?" Lily and I say.

"Oh, that's not it. Ugh, 18 with fertilized egg?" Foster takes another guess.

"You mean 16 and Pregnant?" I ask.

"Oh. That sounds about right!" Foster says.

"Tell me you did not just say what I think you just said." Amber says as she walks in.

"I didn't just say what you thought I said." Foster says.

"Liar!" says Amber.

"Don't you want to be famous?" Lily asks.

"Yeah, sure, but not that way!" Amber protests.

"Okay, sorry. You don't have to go all preggo bitch on me." Foster says.

"Oh you haven't seen preggo bitch yet! You just wai-"

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" A scream interrupts Amber's mad rant.

"Alexx." I say.

"I'd say the rest of the guys are awake." Foster says and comes to see what happened.

"What happened?" I ask as we walk in to see Danny and Jay cracking up over an enraged Alexx.

"YOU IDIOTS!" Alexx shrieks.

"What did they do?" Lily asks.

"We woke her up and then I”-laugh- “put my face directly over”-laugh- “Alexx's." Danny manages to squeeze out.

"And she”-laugh- “woke up and shrieked at the top of her lungs”-laugh- “like a little itty bitty baby girl." Jay says.

"F**** YOU!" Alexx says chasing them out of the room.

Alexx catches the boys and drags both to the lake by their ears. She pushes them into the cool water.

Danny and Jay come up gasping for breath and she squirts them with a super soaker.

"What the heck is that brown stuff coming from your watergun?" Danny asks.

"Liquified cow manure." Alexx says like it's the most normal thing in the world.

"That's disgusting!" Jay says closing his mouth just in time to avoid swallowing a serving of cow poop.

The boys duck under water to wash off their faces every now and then. They decide to swim to the opposite bank. They race and Jay wins by two feet, tops.

They are out of Alexx's poop-gun's range. She pouts and stashes the gun for later.

"She's been saving it for something like this, hasn't she?" asks Foster.

"Yep." I agree.

"That's sick." says Lily.

"Very." We all agree.

Suddenly, we hear the sound of a roaring car engine. Turning to the driveway, I see that Noah has finally arrived. He gets out in a gray undershirt and some board shorts.

His undershirt has grease stains on it, I notice. It makes Noah look even more appealing this way!

Look away, Addison. Look away.

Oh look! He waved!

I wave back, but then I pull my hand back. I almost forgot. I'm mad at Noah. I hate the guy.

Inconsiderate jack*ss. He just earned himself a death stare.

Who cares if he thinks I'm bipolar...

Cassie walks up to the driveway to give her big brother a hug. She must have snuck in the kitchen from her run without us noticing. She is wearing zebra athletic shorts and a neon t-shirtfrom one of our past Spring Break vacations.

We all walk up to the driveway to greeet the newcomers.

"Why were you so late?" Cassie asks Noah.

"Car broke down last night. We were pretty close to getting here and it just gave out. We were on a pretty deserted road and the car needed to be jumpstarted. Alex spotted a car this morning, but the guy had to run back home to get his jumper cables." Noah explains.

"Wait, your name is Alex?" Alexx says.

"Yeah. It is. Short for Alexander. I'm actually from Spain, you know. And I've been
able to trace my family tree back to Alexander the Great." Alex says. He has dark, olive skin and dark brown curly locks. He looks like he'a been out in the sun a lot and has a bit of a farmer's tan on each arm. Cute, but cocky.

"You're cool." Alexx says sarcastically and his face turns to one of utter confusion.

"Playing hard to get now, aren't we my lovely?"

"I'm not your lovely. I have a boyfriend. You call me Alex. Or 'Alexandra the Great'" Alexx mocks the male Alex.

Another few guys get out of the car. Most of them make their way straight to the house to get dibs on a good bed.

A pale, freckled ginger named George stops to chat with us a bit, though. He's super nice and he seems to like Lily. I see Foster looking awfully jealous from his position in his beach chair by the lake.

After the new guys unpack, we decide to go out on the boats. There are two boats, so my crew takes one and Noah and his friends nab the other. We do water-skiing first. Then wakeboarding. We take a break to eat lunch on the boat. We made some yummy Italian subs earlier in the day and have a few large bags of chips.

After lunch, we set the tubes out. Save the best for last, I guess.

The girls and guys each do a few rounds. When it is the girl's turn again, we spot Noah's boat. Danny narrowly avoids hitting him and does a sharp donut. The tube Cassie and I are on is swung out to the left, with me on the left side. George is driving the other boat. Noah and another one of his friends are on a tube coming straight at us!

The two tubes collide and the force leaves me flying a few feet in the air before I do a painful bellyflop in the water. Noah has fallen off too; he is very close to me. I hear laughter from both boats and comments on my bellyflop.

As the boats circle back towards us, Noah says, "Addison-"

"Save it. I don't want to talk to you." I say and I get back on the tube with help from Cassie. I notice she gives her brother a warning look.

After another hour on the lake, everyone is completely starving. We heat up frozen pizza in the ovens and eat it for dinner along with some fish Noah's crew caught earlier today. Though pizza and fish sound like a bad combination, it's actually not bad. The fish tastes sweet, too. Noah must have marinated it in orange juice. I love that!

After a fun and talkative dinner that ends with hs chucking rolls at each other, the girls and I decide to go cliff-diving.

We go climb on top of our favorite rock and all of the guys cheer us from down below. They judge us and give us certain ratings based on the type of jump we do.

Amber volunteers to go first, suprisingly enough. When she gets to the edge, she chickens out and starts to walk back frim the edge, but we push her in. She shrieks at the top of her lungs and flails her arms and legs. She gets an average score of 1 (out of 10). When she surfaces, she pretends to be mad that we pushed her in, but we know she liked it.

Next, Alexx does a huge cannonball, splashing everybody.

Cassie does a La-Z boy. It's where you pit your arms behind your head and you fall in with your back straight. It's like your laying down on your back. I hate La-Z boys because they are like bellyflops for your back. They sting!

Next up, Lily does a swan dive. She loves diving.

I do a flip and get the highest score of them all!

"You know, we should try to find a new favorite cliff-diving spot!" Lily suggests.

"Yeah! Totally! Higher!" we all agree.

I notice that Noah goes inside for, it looks like, a drink refill.

We make our way to the right a little bit on a much higher ledge. It looks pretty scary from up here. We all agree to run and jump in at the same time.

"One, two, three!" we count.

We all run to the edge and jump. Or so I think.

Mid-way through I realize two things.

First of all, only Lily and I jumped. The others decided to fake running up and act like they were going to.

Secondly, something is not right. Noah comes out of the back door screaming something at Lily and I.

I can't quite make out what he's saying-Lily goes to dive- "SHAL-"

And then when I hit the water, I know what he means. Shallow. There are rocks here.

A searing pain goes through my legs as they make contact with the rock. It hurts so bad. I drag myself back up onto the rock thinking about how much it hurts. I think I broke something-Lily.

I am in a state of confusion. Guys are swimming over here, Amber, Alexx, and Cassie are running down a hill back here. Lily is nowhere to be seen.

Oh my gosh. She dived in. Lily dived in! She probably hit her head on the rocks!

"Lily!" I shriek and freak out. Lily, no!"

With the rest of my strength, I push off into the water with a determination to find my best friend.

I search everywhere, but I can't find her. Everything's so blurry and then I see her. It's up to me to save her. Everybody else is too far away.

She is farther out from the rocks in an estimated 12 feet deep area of water. I come up for a breath and dive down to save her.

Cliffhanger. I know. I'm evil.
