Cause it’s 2:00 am

An I can’t see so clearly…

My hands are pressed onto the glass…

Eyes are closed…

Tear drops are running down my nose.

The moon is full…

As are the clouds, soon it shall begin.

I can see the lights flashing in the sky…

Telling me..

It’s too late for good bye.

The rain finally begins to pour..

And now I'm standing in my front door.

Barefoot on the concrete…

It’s cold and its frightening…

Looking up into the lightening…

But I take a step outside..

Covered in rain…

Feeling incredibly insane…

I’m wet and I’m lonely…

With you not here to hold me..

But my heart is screaming the truth…

It’s too late for good bye…..

Times out for running away…

I had my chance to not love you,

I knew what I was running into..

And now I have to face…

My emotional rain fall.

My two greatest fears…

Combined into one.

Cowered from my paralizing fears..

That strikes fear…

The flashing anger in the sky that I can see….

My hair is soaking wet,

And my feet are cold.

But I know this is a battle I must fight before I’m old.

Because it’s too late to turn around.

Maybe this rain will never end,

But I conquered my fear

Of the rains that fall…
