"Hey Nick, can I talk to you for a sec?" I rubbed my sweaty palms on my oversized sweatshirt and looked him in the eyes.
"Sure, Lelo, whats up?" He looked slightly disgusted but I brushed it off. Now was my chance.
"I really like you. As more than a friend. I have for a year now, and I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go out sometime..." I looked down at my feet and played with the rubber band connecting my braces.
"um not to be rude, but why would I date a fatty like you?" I looked up at him with tears brimming my eyes. "were barely friends" ouch. That was worse than anything I expected.
I ran out of the school a few seconds before the bell rang for the last day of sixth grade and just cried in my room for hours.
After I was done I realized I wanted to change. A lot. So I ditched the braces, dropped the weight and started wearing more fashion forward clothes. I even joined my cousins elite dance crew, the VIIBEttes.
Im now in 9th grade, freshman year of highschool. I moved from Englishtown to a house closer to the studio.
"Okay VIIBEttes we have a surprise for you!" Lindsay, my cousin, who was the owner of VIIBE dance complex, said.
"WERE GOING TO ICON DANCE COMPLEX TO PERFORM WITH THE ICONIC BOYZ!" She shouted. We all screamed with excitement.
Look out Nick Mara, Lelo Santiago 2.0 has just came into your life.
And she won't leave until she gets her revenge.
