Axel and I continued playing the game but it was kind of boring because we were both afraid to ask anything that might be interesting whatsoever.

"You know what, let's switch it up." Axel said.

I raised an eyebrow. "What did you have in mind?"

"Okay, so we get four questions that we have to ask the other person about ourselves, I choose two and you choose two and we both answer them. Whoever gets more right gets to ask the person one question that can be about absolutely anything, and the other person has to answer it, truthfully."

Hmm...that could be interesting.

"Okay." I said, "You start."

"Where am I from?" He asked.

"The U.S."

He chuckled. "You have to be more specific than that."

"...Okay then I don't know, I'll just guess...California?"

"New York."

Oh...

"Okay where am I from?"

"London, England."

I groaned. "Correct."

He smiled, "Okay so now it's your turn to ask the question."

"How many siblings do I have?" I asked.

He thought about that. "I don't know, but I'm going to have to go with just one?"

I nodded reluctantly. "Yes."

"How about me?"

"But only from your real mother, not half siblings or anything.

He nodded.

"One."

"Correct." He said, smiling. "My turn...Am I happy in life?"

That's such a broad question, but nobody is really happy about their whole life.

There's always that one thing.

"No." I finally said.

He looked at me for a second, before nodding.

"What about me?" I asked.

"Yes?"

I shook my head. "Nope, same as you mate."

He nodded slowly, looking like he was thinking intently.

"So now we're tied." I said.

"Yep, your turn."

"Okay, do I like working at Costa?"

He smiled. "Yes."

I smirked. "No, I don't, sorry mate."

He shook his head. "Be honest."

"I am."

"Fine, then you're fired, but you can get paid for the next month."

What?

"No! Why the hell would you-"

"See?" He had a proud smirk. "You do like it there. If not, you'd be happy to be fired and still get paid."

I took a deep breath.

He's right.

I guess I actually do like it at Costa...

"What about me?" He asked, "Do I?"

I nodded. "Yes. I bet you just love making me miserable."
