The colours, so many beautiful colours to choose from. I think I shall go with fusia pink , but the maroon dress looks so beautiful, and it will go perfectly with my skin-tone , decisions, decisions. ''Come on Effie we dont have all day!'' yells Haymitch as he glugs down yet another glass of my finest champagne. 'No need to be rude Haymitch ! I must pick the perfect outfit to represent District 12 '' . I sigh to myself, District 12 isin't the most appealing district, in fact i'd say it is one of the worst. But I must look gorgeous as usual. I think I must pick the fusia pink skirt with matching jacket. I will accessorise this outfit with my baby pink pearls , and maybe my lilac ringlet-curled wig. That is sure to make an impression on the Capitol and they will have to promote me to a better district. I slip out of my wardrobe to find Haymitch passed out on my red velvet deck chair. ''For heaven sake Haymitch! Would you please aquire some manners and try not to pass out before every Capitol Event?'' I say. I call on my butler to take of Haymitch, and the trail of puke he left behind him. That smell won't come out for weeks! I decide to head for the stage . Children dressed in old dragged clothes are begining to gather infront of me . They look just vile , I dont mean to be rude its just you think these children would like to make a deacent impression on the Capitol? For example this young girl to my left is dressed in a simple white shirt, a pale blue skirt and her hair is a dull brown colour. Where is the sparkle ? where is the colour ? As I look out to the rest of the audience , I find no other child or parent look respectable at all. This is disgracefull. I try to keep my anger low-key and simply greet myself to the mayor of District 12. He is a lovely man with great style and manners I wish Haymitch would pick up on . Speaking of that drunk bafoon where is he? Before I could ask my butler if he had seen him , I am told to step towards the microphone and make my entrance speech. Okay , It's showtime. Flash a smile, fix my wig and off I go.
''Welcome, Welcome '' I say with a grin.
''To the 74th Annual Hunger Games, and may the odds be ever in your favour''
