Guys, intense stuff happens in this chapter, so this is your Trigger Warning. Nothing to too bad happens but still, you have been warned.

Leo and Nico talked for hours in Leo's room. They learned more and more about each other, finding they had more similarities than differences. They blamed themselves for someone's death, they were not the cause of that death, they both were lonely, they both were sad and sort of depressed, they both felt that they would never be accepted. Soon they fell into a comfortable silence, something neither of them used to enjoy.

"We should go and check on Lex, probably."

"Yeah."

The boys got up and walked out of the room in search of Lex. They found her in the stables, hiding in the last stall.

"Go away," she muttered, her back turned towards the boys, her hair looking disheveled, her whole frame slouching with sadness.

"Lex," Nico whispered, edging towards the door that separated them from her.

"Go away Nico," she snapped, turning her head slightly. The boys caught a quick glimpse of her swollen eyes and tear stained face.

"C'mon Nico," Leo said, grabbing the younger boy by the arm and pulling him out of the stables.

"I dunno why she's like this," Nico mumbled more to himself then Leo.

"Neeks, I love you, but sometimes you are such a twat!" Leo said in an exasperated tone.

"Did you just go British on me?" Nico forced out in between laughs.

"I went on a Doctor Who binge the other day, okay?" Leo murmured looking at his shoes attempting to hide the blush on his cheeks.

"Okay," Nico replied, still laughing.

"Oi, Nico! Recon you could stop laughing at me and stop with the excessive amount of flirting!" Nico just laughed at him more.

"C'mon," Leo muttered, grabbing Nico's wrist and pulling him down a hallway.

"Where are we going?" Nico asked, still laughing.

"To get Percy," Leo said, still pulling Nico towards his room.

"Percy!" Leo called, knocking on the door. "C'mon Percy, I need your help. Please."

"Fine," a muffled voice said awhile later from behind the door. The door opened an inch to reveal Percy. His hair was even more insane than usual, his eyes were puffy, and he was in all black, much like Nico.

"What's up?" he asked in a tired yet flat voice.

"Lex," Leo said simply.

"Alright I'm coming. Where is she?"

"The stables."

"Alright," Percy said, immediately starting in that direction. Even though he was grieving, Percy still took it as his responsibility to watch over everyone, especially Lex. He knew how powerful Lex was and he felt that it was his responsibility to make sure they delivered her to camp safely. Percy walked through the corridors and stopped when he was outside the stables, Leo and Nico following close behind. He took a deep breath before pushing open the door and wondering towards the back. He stopped at the last stall, before he gave Leo a questioning glance.

"No one's here."

Leo turned to Nico in horror, before they both sprinted towards the deck, Percy trailing behind them.

"Lex! Lex stop!" Nico screamed when he saw Lex standing on the bow preparing to jump. She turned her head, her face falling even more so when she saw Percy. Tears were streaking down her face and she seemed so broken.

"I didn't want anyone to see this happen," she said just loud enough for them to hear.

"Lex," Percy said, pleading, "Please come down from there. Come on." She just shook her head and turned back around.

"What's happening up here?!" A voice yelled from behind them. They turned, seeing Jason staring at all of them in confusion. Leo hesitantly raised his finger to point at Lex.

"I got her if she jumps," he whispered loud enough for them to hear. Lex turned her head back around, crying even harder.

"J-Just watch out for Hazel. Sh-She's not very accepting," Lex said, giving Nico and Leo a pointed stare. "See you in a bit Jason," she said, a smile on her lips. With that, she shoved herself off the boat and screamed in excitement and freedom.

"Looks like I'm going skydiving," Jason said before he also threw himself off the boat and followed after her.

Percy turned around to face them, questioning look in his eyes. "Why did she tell you two specifically to watch out for Hazel because she's 'not accepting'?"

"We'll tell you when Jason comes back," Leo muttered, dreading the moment that was coming.

*~~*

Jason finally came back, holding Lex by the arm, her face contorting in pain. He set her down on the deck softly before giving her a confused glance, completely oblivious to the blood covering his hand. As soon as he let go, she dropped to her knees, her hand clutching her bleeding arm. She looked at Jason and shot him a death glare, which he returned with a confused glance untill she held up her now bloody right hand. Realization spread across his face as he knelt down next to her. Leo watched curiously as Jason pulled up her sleeve to her shoulder to reveal scars on her forearm as well as bloody slices on her upper arm whose scabs had clearly been broken.

"Thanks Jason," she hissed, glaring daggers at him. He backed away slowly, his hands raised in surrender.

"I-I-I'm s-s-sorry," he forced out.

"Well sorry doesn't sweeten my tea sweetheart," she growled, the air around her going even darker. Nico shot Jason a glare before he walked over to Lex.

"C'mon, let's get you cleaned up," he whispered to her, leading her away from the rest of the crew.

The boys stood there in shock before Percy snapped out of it and turned to Leo.

"Jason's back," he said sternly, "Time to talk."
