Morcroftt the next generation (complete)

spinner.gif

(Hiya everyone, please forgive me for such a long time inbetween uploads. It's surprising how quickly time flies by when you spend most of it asleep. As you have probably guessed I am still really poorly and am still undergoing hospital tests to find out what is wrong with me. (Something to do with high blood counts which is making me absolutely exhausted. I can only seem to manage a paragraph or two a day... hence the long wait.) Anyway enough about me hope you enjoy this next chapter and I promise to upload the next chapter much sooner... Enjoy and sorry again xxx

“My wife is a what?” Calix almost yelled as he paced the training room floor. He ran his fingers through his hair, his handsome face screwed up in confusion as he stared at the now conscious Terrence that was still seated on the floor.

“Your Majesty … The Queen is a 'Mirrorist'. Terrence replied a little shakily. He was obviously in deep shock as his face was filled with awe and his skin looked even paler than what it had done before.

Calix walked across the room then let out a deep sigh.

“So what exactly is a 'Mirrorist'? I mean I have never heard of one before.”

Terrence got to his feet and let out a long breath. “A 'Mirrorist' is a very powerful Vampire, they can mirror other Vampires abilities. Basically as soon as they have seen a power, they can mirror it or copy it if you like.”

“But how is that possible?” I asked with a gasp. “Its not as if I am of noble blood or anything. I mean I have only just been turned … surely I can't be that powerful?”

“I don't know,” Terrence replied dusting himself down and taking a shaky step towards me.

“Maybe it has something to do with your Human blood form or something. But what I do know is that you are one of a kind. There has only ever been one other mirrorist in the whole of our Vamperic history that I know of and that was the late Queen Makeira.”

“This is unreal,” I muttered under my breath as I strolled across to the other side of the room. “I can't believe this is happening.”

I let out a groan, then rested my head against the cold wall in front of me.

If I was a mirrorist as Terrence called me then where on earth did I learn the ability to dream or possibly tell the future?

“Erm Terrence?” I asked turning to face him. “Do you know anything about Vampires dreaming and being able to see into the future?”

Terrence stood quietly for a few seconds, mulling over what I had just asked him. He seemed a little confused to start with, but then his face broke into slight smile of realisation.

“A Vampire that can teleport from one place to another not only has the ability to levitate but also has the ability to dream. I have never known it being linked with foreseeing the future though … Why do you ask?”

I told Terrence about my dream and how real it had seemed, also mentioning the horrific injuries that I had received whilst I had been asleep.

“Sometimes when you dream you can teleport subconsciously to other places without realising it.

Maybe you did actually go to the Mansion and you did meet the Demon Sachen. I know I have awoken before in a strange place that I had been dreaming about. So maybe you did the same.”

“Well that would explain your injuries,” Calix replied stunned. I hadn't noticed he had walked over to us until I had heard his voice beside me. He wrapped his arms around my waist, his beautiful silver eyes turning from mine to Terrence's. “Is there anyway we can stop the dreams? Or prevent my wife from teleporting to another location while she sleeps?”

Even though I could hear the faintest whisper now with my sensitive Vampire hearing, I still found myself leaning forwards in anticipation of Terrance's answer. If he could tell us how to solve this problem, then that would be one of the battles already won.

“I'm afraid not your Majesty, the dreams never stop … they do however calm down, but the teleporting part … well that eases with age. The older and stronger the Queen gets the easier it will be for her to control her powers.”

Calix nodded while I just lowered my head in defeat.
