"Courtney Acevedo... Will you marry me?" Liam asked, smiling at me as he looked up towards me while he was done on one knee. You smiled, and you were so overwhelmed; a tear fell down your face and onto the ground and all you could do was nod, you were so chocked up with happiness. "I love you" He said as he happily stood up and wrapped you in his arm as a rain drop fell onto you both and continued to pour down. "I love you too Liam" You said and kissed him on the lips passionatily.
Beep-beep-beep!
You quickly sprang up, and realized it was all a dream; you groaned and slammed the snooze button on your alarm clock. You wiped your tired eyes and slung you feet over the side of your bed; lazily getting up and going to go change.
You looked at the calandar that sat on your dresser and you looked at the date; and then remember today was the day you were throwing your party. You smiled happily and decided to get changed quickly so you could begin to set up. You dug into your dresser and pulled out a black beaded dress. You slipped it on and then walked down the stairs, you walked into the kitchen and began perparing snacks and drinks for everyone. The party was at 5pm, You glanced at the clock and it was 1pm. You must have slept past the alarm for along time.
You quickly set out some chips and dip and a couple different drinks. You looked at the phone and noticed a couple different missed calls, You dialed back the first one and it was you best friend Macy; she answered quickly and said chirppily "Hey!" you smiled and said "Hi, you called?" You asked, as you sat on the stool. "Yeah, I was wondering if I could bring my boyfriend" I groaned quietly, her boyfriend was Liam Payne, yes from One Direction. She already knew she could bring him, but she sometimes likes to brag about it... "Yeah" You said quietly and she squeeled "Thanks, bye!" She said and the line went dead. You groaned and slammed the phone back down, you were completely in love with Liam; but honestly Macy was your best friend and they seemed... Happy? Most of the time.
You sighed quietly and continued to get ready; the other calls were simply miss dials, so you didn't take the time to call back.
After you finished cleaning the house, there was a slight knocking on the door, you rushed to it and glanced at the clock; it was only 2:30pm. Someone is early.
You turn the knob and pull the door open, and there you find Liam... His face stained with tears and he was sobbing completely, and his whole body was shaking. You quickly grabbed his shoulders and pulled him towards you wrapping him up in you arms, you felt tears begin to go down your face, you didn't even know why he was crying, just the look on his face.... Was to overwhelming.
After a while of standing you moved you and Liam onto the porch and both of you sat on the steps, you continued to hold him tightly in your arms and stroke his arm as he sobbed onto your shoulder. "Liam what's wrong" You ask as you pull him away and cup his chin, he sniffled making his whole chest shake. He breathed raspyily and looked at you, "M-macy... She uh... Cheated on m-me" he said; stuttering through out his whole sentence. I stroked his cheek.... "She doesn't deserve you" I said soothingly. Leaning in and kissing his nose lightly. He pulled away and youlooked awat shyly "Sorry" but he shook his head "Don't be" and he pulled you fastly towards him, your lips crashing passionitly against his.
Our lips moved together and his arms wrapped around you, he pulled your chests close to eachother, to where there was no room between you guys.
This was, the kiss that changed your life; after that kiss Liam asked you to be his girlfriend. You happily accepted; and later on... 7 months later he asked you to marry him. And you happily accepted to that too.
~Wedding Day~
"Toast! Toast" Everyone shouted as Liam slowly walked onto the stage, he nodded and held his glass up to the mircophone, he tapped it lightly with a butter knife and everyone turned towards him and he held the mircophone towards his mouth.
"Well... I'm not sure where to start, first I want to say; I regret nothing from the day I met Courtney. After my break up with her best friend; she was there for me she held me tightly in her arms letting me cry my feelings out. We barely even knew each other; but I knew if I let her slip away from me... I'd regret that for the rest of my life. So I made a bold move, and asked her to be my girlfriend, on her porch. She said yes; which completely made me the happiest person alive. And through these short 7 months, we got to know each other so much! She began my go-to person, my best friend, my beautiful wife. People say I should have waited longer, than 7 months to ask her to marry me. But I wanted her to be my wife; to put a ring on her finger and tell her I'll always be hers, and protect her through anything. We'd get through thick and thin, and if we fight; we'd work things out... Not through yelling, but talking. And when we kiss, it feels like the day on the porch once again; not the sad memories but the sparkes that flew when our lips met... That touch was perfect, and we were completely made for each other. She is my beautiful wife, and I'm proud to say... She's mine"
