I started to type out my reply and sent it to him.

Me: Morning, Seth.

Ilo-lock ko na sana ang phone ko nang magreply siya.

Seth: How's your day?

Me: Oks lang. You?

I waited for minutes for his reply, but nothing came. Hay, here we go again.

A month had passed after that 'date' happened. We barely communicate with video chats, but we managed to text each other almost everyday.

Anyways, I'm with Gail today and we're currently having a 'bondate.' Bonding plus date. Bondate. Yeah, I know, it sucks but that's what do or say when you're with friends.

"Kamusta na kayo?" she asked, referring to me and Seth, as we sat at one of the school's benches.

I'm glad to be back here at Einstein Academy. It's Intramurals, and Gail said I should come with her and celebrate. Kilala na rin naman daw ako rito sa school kaya hindi naman ako matatawag na outsider or bystander.

I once went to this school, pero nang mag-annul sina Mama and Dad, my education was taken out of my life also due to financial help. Tita Faith once offered to help me go to school noong hindi pa ako naghohomestudy, but I refused. I can't depend on her because I'm not her responsibility. I'm not her child.

Tita Faith insisted me to go on online homestudying, at doon na rin ako pumayag. I left school last year at the middle of the school year, and I tell you, it sucks. I really miss school so much, even my position here as a student leader. I have to leave my vice-presidency in the Student Council because of the said reasons.

Now that it's the graduating year, and I'm a senior as well, though it's just online, I'm happy I'm back here, kahit na Intrams lang.

"Ganun pa rin," sagot ko sa tanong ni Gail.

"Pero umaasa kang babalik yung dating siya?" she joked. Jokes are half-meant.

Sinamaan ko na lang siya ng tingin.

Ewan ko. Seth's somehow being cold nowadays. For example, he'll text me sweet things and will check me up often if I have eaten meals, then he'll call and we'll talk for hours. On the next day? Mawawala siya bigla. Magtetext lang siya ng goodmorning, and after a series of reply, wala na siyang reply.

Hindi naman sa nag-eexpect ako na laging andyan siya, pero hindi siya katulad nung iba na magsosorry 'pag di nakareply kahapon ganun.

Am I the only one who cares whatever's between us?

I told you, Allison. You should never care ever again.

Ugh! Ang gulo! Sobrang naguguluhan na ako!

"Pero babe, 'wag ka nang makipag-usap dun. Don't ever text him or talk to him, ewan ko lang kung magflood 'yon ng texts sa 'yo," Gail said.

"Ala, bahala na," I told her nonchalantly.

"By the ways, sino nga pala yung partner mo sa Socialization Ball?" I asked her to change the topic.

"Hindi ko alam eh. Iba yung rules ngayon. 'Di na katulad dati na yung lalaki ang mag-iinvite sa girl to be his partner. They changed it by matching the people corresponding to their corsage's color. Pero 'di na rin ako aattend doon. I'll be bored," she replied.
