"...No." He finally says. "I never turned them on Jacqueline."

My hazel eyes grow wide as I stand there in complete shock. "Wh- what?" Is all I say.

"You heard me." He says as he picks his head up. "Why! Why didn't you turn them on?" I shouted. My parents glare at us.

"Because I thought it would make you feel better if you thought there were survailence cameras around here." He admits.

"Feel better? I wanted them for proof! Just in case anything happened just like it did to Grace you asshole!"

I ran to him as he stood up and pushed him back onto the couch in anger. "You knew what was going on! You said you believed me!" I shouted as I punched his shoulder harshly.

He didn't say anything and just took the punch.

"You were supposed to have my back! You were supposed to believe me brother." I said as tears streamed down my cheeks.

"We're twins and twins are always there for each other.." I stopped hitting him and tried to stop myself from crying.

He looked up to me, a single tear coming down his face. "I'm sorry, Jay. I don't believe you..."

I take one last look into his backstabbing eyes and then look to my confused looking parents.

"Mom, dad, I-" I begin.

"Go to your room." My mom sternly says, giving me deathly glares. My dad does the same.

I wipe my tears away and walk upstairs to my room. I shut the door and cry my eyes out on my bed. I couldn't believe that this whole time, the one person I thought who really believed me..

Was lying.

I had no one. I felt like my life was quickly turning upside down. My parents blame me for Grace's incident. My friends choose my brother over me.

And worst of all, my own twin never believed me.

---

I woke up a little earlier than everyone for school. I had already gotten dressed and the last thing I needed was to get my car keys and leave.

"Morning." I heard Adam say from the top of the stairs, rubbing his tired eyes.

I don't answer him and instead, grab my keys and walk out, slamming the door behind me.

In order to go with my mood, I decided to wear all black today. I had on black skinny jeans, a black fitting tank top, and wore my blonde hair straight down.

I arrived at school and went to my locker to grab some folders.

"Are you always here this early?"

I turn my head and see where the voice is coming from. Of course, It's the boy with the messy black hair and ice blue eyes.

"No, but why are you here early?" I ask and open my locker.

"Morning detention." He casually replies and raises both of his dark eyebrows.

I should have known.

"Hey sis." Adam says. He smile as he hands me a small white, bag. "What's this?" I ask flatly.

"Bought you some food." He replies. "Thought you skipped breakfast since you left in a rush." He answers and then looks from me to Gabe. "I can see why you hurried over here now." He harshly adds while he is staring at Gabriel, giving him the dirtiest look.

Gabriel catches on and glares at my brother.

"I don't want this." I say and hold out the bag to Adam. "Jay, you need to eat. Especially since you have practice later on." He argues.
