A Typical Summer (One Direction Fan Fic)

Hi guys. I hope you all are enjoying the story so far :) Please leave a comment and tell me what you think. Niall's POV

I really like Hadley. I am not one to move very fast when it comes to girls. Harry and Adalynne have been official for a bit now. I am the only one in the band who hasn't had a public relationship or even a private one for that matter. I am pretty sure that I want Hadley and I to take the next step up from close friendship. I think I am going to ask her to be my girlfriend tonight.

"Hadley! Can I talk to you quick?" I asked walking into the girls' cabin.

"Sure! I'll be out in a minute." She replied.

"What did you want to talk about?" she asked.

"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out later?" I asked her.

"Of course! What time and what are we going to do?" she replied getting excited.

"It's a surprise but I will come back at 7 tonight and we will go." I told her.

"Can't wait! Oh one more thing...what should I wear?" she asked.

"Well we are going to be outside so dress to be warm and comfortable." I told her giving her a wink as I walked back to my cabin.

I can't wait to ask Hadley and I'm pretty sure she feels the same way. I am still super nervous. I quickly texted Adalynne to ask permission to borrow a canoe and go on the pond tonight. She gladly agrees and my plans are set.

Hadley's POV

I can't wait to figure out what Niall and I are doing tonight. I can't help but be nervous at the same time.  I really want to be more than friends with him. It hasn't been very long but I feel such a strong connection with him.  Hopefully tonight I will hint enough towards being more. Now to find an outift. I mean it's already 5:57. I really need to get going on my hair and makeup.  I decide to go for a half-up half down look. My makeup is light but my eyeshadow has a slight sparkle. I pick out a pair of black skinny jeans and a loose long sleeve top. (outfit-http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=53981693

*knock on the door*

"Come in! I'm almost ready!" I yell knowing it's Niall at the door.

"I'll just be in the living room!" I heard him yell in response.

Niall's POV

"Okay, I'm ready!" Hadley said as she entered the living room.

"You look beautiful!" I said after seeing how gorgeous Hadley looked.

"Thank you! So where are we headed?" she asked.

"Just follow me." I said grabbing her hand and leading her outside. I led her to the pond on Adalynne's property. I had gone here earlier and decorated the trees alongside it with lights and brought the canoe down here.

"We are going to go for a ride." I told her.

"I have always wanted to go on a romantic canoe ride!" she replied flashing me a wink. 

"Well let's go!" I replied helping her into the boat. I carefully pushed us away from shore. I rowed us to the center of the pond while we made small talk. She was really flirting with me a lot tonight. This is making asking her so much easier.

I finally pull in the ores and prepare to ask her.

"Hadley, I have been thinking lately and I was hoping that...." I started.

"Hoping what?" she asked.

"I was hoping you would be my girlfriend." I finally got out.

"I would love to, I have been waiting for you to ask!" She said excitedly.

"I'm so glad I finally asked." I replied.

"Well kiss me already,silly!" she said and I did just that. Sparks flew like crazy as soon as her lips met mine. Tonight was one of the best nights of the summer.
