Prologue:
"Burn in hell little one." The three hazy figures chanted as they faded into nothingness. She ran, frantically trying to escape the white room she had somehow awoken in. The room seemed to go on fovever, so eventually the small girl collapsed in a heap and started crying. There were no windows anything else in the room, except the small girl.
"What is wrong child?" Somebody asked her. she looked around to see who issued the question, but nobody was to be found.
"Don't worry, everything will be fine if you just tell me what is wrong."
Emily didn't know if the voice was to be trusted or not, but had no other option.
"They keep tormenting me."
"Who do dear?"
"The demons, I can't stop them."
"What do they say to you?"
"That I will follow them. That I will burn in hell for all eternity."
"Do you believe these things they tell you?"
"I don't know, I'm afraid not to."
Suddenly their conversation was cut short by another voice. This voice was not calm and soothing like the one that had been previously talking, but sounded as if someone had a terrible hoarse throat. The raspy voice sent chills down the little girl's spine when it spoke.
"You betrayed me little one." He spat out.
"What did she do to betray you?" the other voice asked.
"She promised her soul to me in exchange for her mothers life."
"Did you Emily? Is what this man says true?"
The girl shook with an uncontrollable fear, but was able to answer.
"No, I did no such thing."
"LIAR!" The hellish voice yelled. "I stake claim on this one, and you can never interfere."
"She has been chosen Lucifer, God's choice stands firm."
"My sweet Michael, you can burn in hell with me for all I care. And that goes for your God too."
Michael stayed silent for a moment before speaking once again to the little girl.
"Never lose hope." And then he was gone.
The cold and darkness enveloped Emily. She screamed, but nothing came out of her mouth. The swirling black was suffocating the little girl which resulted in her passing out. When she awoke, she was in a small town. There was a child about her age that was standing over top of her.
"What is your name?" she asked him.
"My name is Caleb, what is yours?"
"Emily." The little girl replied.
