ELLE’S POV
I sat on the park bench on the inside of the school gates waiting for James Caputo to arrive. I had no idea why I was even hanging out with him, or why I even bothered to answer him on facebook, let alone accept his friend request, but I did and I guess now I have to deal with the consequences. While Mabel was over yesterday she ended up conning me into googling him so that I knew enough about him. Turns out he is good friends with the Gomez family and that’s how he got his job with Disney. He played an extra in one of the old That’s so Raven replays and then they gave him his own tv show. It’s funny how you can be famous and you don’t even know the face of another famous person.
“Hey” I heard someone say from behind me. I turned to find Caputo himself standing behind me leaning against a pole.
“Hey, so where are we off to?” I asked, picking up my bag. James signalled for me to follow him and he walked up to the security guard at the gates.
“ID please” the security guard said.
“But we are inside the school, why would we need ID to get out?” James complained.
“ID please” The security said more sternly. I sighed and pulled out my ID and showed the security guard.
“Thank you Miss Styles” He said, opening the gate for us. Since the gates at CB High aren’t transparent, we couldn’t see who was waiting on the other side, meaning that there’s normally a group of fans waiting outside the gates for famous people, meaning we have to have different times every day when we finish school. Unfortunately, the time today was 3:30pm meaning school kids got here before we finished school. Typical principal mistake. We pushed through the crowd of screaming girls and made our way down the street, ignoring the few fans that were lurking behind us.
“This has never happened to me before, not like this anyway” James said, turning back to look at the girls following us.
“Well try being Harry Style’s daughter for a day, this is normal” I laughed. James smirked and put his hoodie on, followed by his sunglasses. I did the same and followed him to his black Mercedes which was parked in the private parking lot next to the school.
“This is yours?” I asked. He nodded and opened the door for me.
“How do you even have a license?”
“Im 17” he said. I mouthed an ‘Oh’ before buckling my seatbelt and watching the gates to the private car park open for us. James sped up the street to where the Disney studios are.
“Why are we here?” I asked.
“Because I wanted to show you why im famous” He said. I raised my eyebrows at him.
“And also because I need to talk to Sarah about something” He admitted. Sarah was the Bieber/Gomez love child. Sarah Gomez took on the role of Wizards of Waverly place for her mother because they look almost identical, besides the rare Bieber features. I sighed and sat back in my chair thinking about how much I hated the Gomez girls. Sarah and Selena were nice people once. Well until I decided one day that I wanted to be famous for actually doing something besides being a Styles. I went for the role to take the place of Selena and got it, but Sarah, when she attended CB High, put something in my food and I had an allergic reaction and you know what happens next. I was too sick and ugly to go on set so they gave Sarah the role. James pulled into the Disney Studio car park and opened my door for me. Almost immediately, there’s the entire Gomez/Bieber family outside staring at me.
