*Sasuke's POV*
I watch the wolf break several mirrors, and trot out of the circles effortlessly. It stands, eyes bright red, back arched, beside Kakashi. A low growl erupts from the wolf - it definitely wasn't something a human could possibly imitate.
That is exactly how I knew Chika didn't exist in that body anymore. She wasn't there. Her demon was in charge now - he could kill the people most precious to her, and not feel a thing.
Haku entered a mirror - I could see him. He stepped so normally into that mirror, as if entering a room.
So there's the real one!
I can feel the smirk creeping onto my face, the exsasperated feeling slowly disappearing.
I slide a hand into my kunai pouch, ready to attack, when Haku's voice calls from behind me: "Over here."
The exasperated feeling returns, immediately followed by annoyance and irritation and I feel a burn in my eyes, but it doesn't matter. All that matters right now is to defeat this ice bastard.
I clasp my hands together immediately, forming the seal of the tiger.
"Hey! What's going on?!" Naruto yells, looking around.
If these mirrors are made of ice...
I puff out my cheeks, feeling the vibration of chakra.
"Grand Fireball no Jutsu!"
I blow, and red-hot flames explode from my mouth. They dance across the ground, making their way across to the ice mirrors, curling around the mirrors.
Soon, we are surronded by my flames. The mirrors have no damage at all.
A look of shock flits across Naruto's face, and my own twists into an irate scowl.
"It didn't do anything!" Naurto observes, later than ever.
Haku pokes his head out of a mirro casually. "You can't melt this ice with that level of fire," he says calmly.
I grit my teeth, thinking up another plan.
Sensing his chance, Haku builds up a dome using his ice mirrors. I look around desperately. There is one of him in every mirror.
Every single one of him raises a senbon needle, and at exactly the same time, they attack. The needles rip through my skin, blood is oozing out. Naruto's hurt too - but it's his own fault.
I crouch, trying to hide from the needles, which unfortunately doesn't work.
"Where's the real one?!" Naruto screams, trying to fight back.
"Trying to follow with your eyes is impossible - you'll never be able to catch me," Haku says mockingly.
"Bah!" Naruto complains, forming a hand sign.
"Don't--"
"Kage Bushin no Jutsu!"
What. An. Idiot.
Did he really think he could defeat him by crushing all the mirrors?
A crowd of Naruto's appear, and charge stupidly at the mirrors. They punch and kick at the mirrors one by one, each time, one of them falls, reducing to shadows once more.
Haku dashes from mirror to mirror, blurs of him moving.
"This jutsu uses the mirror's reflections to transport me. From my point of view, you are moving in slow motion," Haku explains.
Outside the dome, Kakashi speaks. "For a kid to master a jutsu like that..."
Zabuza chuckles. "My Chika is way past that level, she's powerful enough to beat me."
"A jutsu like that?" Sakura asks, confused.
"It's a kekkei genkai," Kakashi confirms. "A deep blood lineage, a superior genealogy - it's a Jutsu passed down by your ancestors."
"Then.." Sakura starts.
"Chika's demon is almost like a kekkei genkai," Zabuza smirks. "Impossible to defeat."
The wolf howls in response. "Seems you know me well." Then the wolf notices me. "Sasuke's has activated - it'd be hard to defeat a double Sharingan."
"Yeah, you could compare it to my Sharingan," Kakashi agrees, "Even I couldn't copy it, it's immpossible."
"DAMN IT!" Naruto screams, "SO WHAT?!"
"I can't die here!" Naruto growls, "I have a dream to fulfill!"
*Haku's POV*
I can almost see the sadness and pain behind Naruto's eyes. They are too similar to mine.
"DAMN IT!" Naruto screams, "SO WHAT?!"
"I can't die here!" he growls, "I have a dream to fulfill!"
I can still remember when Zabuza and Chika found me. He walked past, Chika shuffling close behind him.
"What an unfortunate child," he had smirked.
He had crouched down by me, Chika peering curiously at me from behind him. "A brat like you is not wanted by anyone. You will die with neither freedom nor dreams."
