“Dad, please...” I begged and pleaded as my dad raised his fist to punch me  

“Shut up, slut!” He hissed, his voice full of venom

“What did I do?” I cried 

“Everything, I hate you, you useless kid!” 

“Please no-” 

My dad punched me in the stomach with extreme force making my breath hitch for a millisecond before he punched me in the face sending me in to darkness.

I woke up and was in my bed, I heard crying coming from downstairs.
I walked down the stairs to see my mother being dragged on the floor, by the hair, by my dad. I watched as she cried out for help but I couldn’t move. 

My dad stopped pulling her and my mother ran in to the corner of the room, making my dad angrier than before. 

He walked over to her and raised his fist, I closed my eyes but could still hear the sound of my dad’s fist hitting my mothers pale skin.

She screamed in pain and shouted my name but I still didn’t move, I watched as he punched her again and again. 

Why aren’t I helping her?

What is the worst thing he can do to me?

Oh yeah, thats right, kill me.

I looked at my mom and a wave of guilt washed over me.

My dad raised his fist one more time and punched my mom 3 times in the chest. 

I watched as my moms chest went up and down from her last breath, and then stopped completely.

My dad got up and walked out of the house, it was now free for me to go over to my mom.

I walked over to my mothers still body and a few tears dropped from my eyes. 

I looked at my moms chest, and it was still, I put my ear to her left side, no sound.

My mother was dead.

Well, Liam, Here I come.
