DANIELLAS POV

“She’s waking up!” Marissa’s loud voice rang through my room.

“Jesus, Mari, keep it down” I said lying up against my bed.

“Thank god” I heard Stefan, as he stood closer, examining me, kissing me

everywhere.

“Stefan, I'm fine” I muttered, smiling.

My smile fell as everything flew back to me.

“Where are my dad and the Belokuvs?” I asked, in a panic.

“Their saying goodbye to the guest, your dad was trying to make up a good excuse

saying you were ‘overwhelmed with joy’” Marissa said, shaking her head.

I saw Stefan push himself off my bed; I followed and caught him in a tight hug.

“What are we going to do?” I muttered into his neck.

I felt his hands tighten and his body stiffen.

“I have no idea yet, but there’s no way in hell I am letting my mate marry

another” Stefan said, his eyes pitch black.

I held on to him tighter, hoping all this engagement was a horrible nightmare.

I saw Adrian run in the room.

“Careful both Damon ad his parents along with your dad are going to be here in

five minutes” Adrian said, wrapping his arms around Marissa.

“What should we do about this?” I asked again, getting a headache.

“For now, I think it’s safer just to keep undercover, just hang out with him—”

Adrian was cut off by Stefan's angry voice.

“Absolutely not” Stefan said his voice full of rage, his arms got even tighter around

my waist pulling me closer.

Adrian put his hands up.

“Calm down Stefan, I meant just to make it seem normal, your relationship with

Dani should be kept a secret until we really know what were up against, we don’t

want a war” he said, making Stefan calm down a bit.

“But aren’t you guys leaving in two days?” Marissa asked.

The room went silent.

My heart ached at the thought of Stefan leaving.

I whimpered and cuddled more into him, knowing he was probably in the same

emotional state I was in.

“We only have one choice then so they won’t break you guys apart” Adrian said

seriously.

We all looked up at him, hoping this was the answer to all of our problems.

“You two have to mate now or tell them the truth”

OKAAYS GUYS SO IM GOING TO EXPLAIN WHY THEIR MATING IS A BIG DEAL.

SURE WEREWOLVES MATE ALL THE TIME, BUT AT THE RIGHT TIME.
