Godnapped

Chapter 6........Lexy
As we were shooting arrows(Well, attempting to shoot is a better word), I noticed Haylen talking to a super hot guy. "Whose that?" I asked Trottie, one of the Aphrodite girls. Trottie was nice enough, but was a little full of herself and completely boy crazy. I learned that from talking to her for only 10 minutes. "That's Drew, son of Apollo." She told me dreamily. "He's single, 13, and as you can tell, gorgeous." I stared at Drew as he laughed at something my sister had said, and immediantly felt a little jealous. "Though it looks like he's taking a interest to your sister." She commented, and I felt that tad bit of jealousy burn deep. "Whatever." I said coolly, and than loaded my bow and shoot a clean miss.
I didn't see Haylen for the rest of the day, she was rotating with a gothic-looking guy named Nico, the styar that had escorted me to my cabin; Grover, and than Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase. In Piper's description of the people, Piper explained that Percy and Annabeth were pretty popular people in camp. I asked why, and that was when I learned their adventures. In Percy's first year of camp, he had been sent on a quest with Annabeth and Grover to get Zeus's lightening bult back, and he had succeeded and stopped a war. In his second year, he had snuck off with his half brother Tyson and Annabeth, and had helped save the camp with 'The Golden Fleece', and to top it off had rescued Grover from a Cyclops. And his adventures went on and on. Pretty much all of them included Grover, and Annabeth, and sometimes Tyson(His half brother)too. By the time the day was over, I had heard all of Percy's exciting stories that the Aphrodite cabin had loved to gossip to me about. Though a lot of times they would get off topic and start talking about other people, I managed to get the 411 on who Haylen was hanging out with.
Piper led us to the mess hall, where we all sat down at Aphrodite's special table. Annabeth was sitting with a group of athletic, smart looking kids, and Nico and Percy were sitting at their own tables...Alone. Haylen was also sitting by herself, and she looked tired and bored. When she caught my eye, I gave her a wave, but she didn't wave back. Whatever, I thought as I half-listened to Chiron talking. I guess I wasn't paying enough attention, because than I'd know what we were doing when we all stood up and walked towards the camp fire. Not wanting to look stupid, I followed what everyone else was doing and slipped some of my food into the fire. Some of the people were murmuring quiet prayers, but I kept my mouth shut.

Over the past week, everyone had been whispering about us, and something about Percy. I'd only caught whispers, but I had seen the stares people and been giving me.
Haylen and I met together on Friday, right before Capture The Flag. We were on the same team, and we decided to stay together. Whatever fight we had been in seemed to have blown over, and we were all good again. I still had trouble wrapping my mind around the fact that the Greek gods existed, but with every day Annabeth explained more to me, the more it all made sense to me. Haylen and I stuck to each other whenever we could, and we helped each other understand a little more. In the back of my mind I remembered my mom, but I tried not to think about her, or otherwise I'd get really guilty. 
On our side we had Athena leading us, Poseidon(Which was just Percy),a few people from the Aphrodite cabin, the Hermes cabin and Artemis(Which was just Haylen). On the other side, Ares was leading, with Apollo, Dionysus's son, Hades(Which was just Nico), Heaphaestus, and Demeter.
Since I was fast, I was going to be going in for the flag with Annabeth and a few other people. Haylen would be working as a distraction with Percy, and Tavis and Connor Stoll.
"Stand clear," Annabeth called out, before leading  our little group into a hidden path by the trees. My heart hammered as we came across our first guy. He was a Apollo guy, Caleb I think, and Annabeth put him down quickly. All she did was give him a good sized cut on his leg, before we went on our way. The woods were deadsilent, but the force of something made everything so....eerie. Just as Annabeth instructed us to go, a dog-like shape jumped into the field, crashing ontop of me. I screamed as it bit into my skin. I kept on screaming until I felt it go limp ontop of me. Even then, I kept on screaming.  "Heroes!" Chiron yells out to everyone as they gather around me. Haylen's on her knees beside me, in complete shock. "Capture the flag, I'm afraid it cancelled for today. Back to your cabins!" he glanced at me and Haylen. "You two...Come with me."
