Chapter 7

Joe / Romans POV

I walked back into the locker room. Colby and Jon were talking.

"Hey man, what did Steph have to say? Is it about tonight?" Colby asked.

"I'm being put in a love angle," I said awkwardly.

"With who?" Jon raised an eyebrow.

"Abigail."

Colby smirked at Jon.

"What?" I asked.

Colby and Jon laughed, "Nothing big man," Colby said.

Abigail / Rebecca's POV

I couldn't believe it. Where had they gotten the idea of putting me and him together?

"Gail!" I turned around to see Saraya skipping over, "What'd she say?"

"I'm being put in a love story," I muttered awkwardly.

Saraya giggled, "With who?"

"Joe."

Saraya didn't say anything for a while, but the smile on her face told it all, "Well, how interesting."

"Yeah," I muttered, "I don't think I can tell Randy."

"Don't tell him, then," Saraya told me.

"I have to!" I argued.

"No you don't."

I sighed, "This sucks."

"I don't know why you're complaining. Any diva in the locker room would be dying to get to be in this storyline. Romans in the main event scene right now, it's a pretty big deal," Saraya said.

"It's just that........ it had to be with him."

"Maybe it'll be better then you thought," Saraya patted my shoulder, "Everything's going to turn out."

Monday Night Raw:

Onscreen:

Roman was warming up for his match.

"Hey," I said from behind him.

"Hey, Rebecca," Roman muttered, not even looking at me.

"I'm sorry about what happened with Seth," I said.

Roman lifted his head to look me in the eyes, "It's fine, I don't blame him."

I tried to stay in character and not get caught in his eyes as I continued.

"You blame Triple H I assume," I chuckle, "The game, the king of kings and the sell out."

Roman smiled lightly, "Tell me about it."

"Well, just wanted to see if you were alright. I have a match," I smiled shyly at him before walking away. Roman watched me with a smile.

Offscreen:

"Great job," Joe told me when the cameras stopped rolling.

"You too," I said.

Joe nodded in my direction before walking away.

"Hey, you never told me you guys were doing a storyline," I turned around to see Randy.

"I was going to before I left the arena," I assured him.

Randy nodded unconvinced, "Ok, you doing anything after the show?"

I shook my head, "No, you want to go do something?"

Randy nodded, "Yeah, you want to come by my room?"

"Yes, I will," I said in agreement.

Randy nodded, "Alright, I'll be watching your match."

"Bye," I said as Randy kissed my cheek. I walked off.

Onscreen:

I stood face to face with Summer Rae. I was wearing lime green Osiris's with white torn up jeans and a white belly shirt. I tied my lime green bandana to my wrist.

Summer Rae started dancing around the ring. A few of the fans whistled.

"Rebecca doesn't look to impressed," Jerry commented as I raised an eyebrow at her.

Summer Rae twirled around and striked a pose. I smirked at her and spun around, hitting her with a punch in the process.

"Rebecca has some moves too!" Jerry said in amusement.

I grabbed Summer by the hair and threw her into the corner before kneeing her in the gut.

Saraya / Paige's POV

I walked backstage and turned the corner.

"Oh! Hey, Colby!" I exclaimed in surprise.

"Oh...... Hey Saraya..."

Why was he acting so awkward.

"So Colby, how's it being apart of the authority?" I asked.

Colby laughed, his mood sudden changed "The Shields cooler."

"Yeah, I bet. Always thought I would be a good fit for the Shield," I smirked.

"I heard they're looking for a new member."

"I might check into that," I told him.

Colby laughed, "You should."

"Well, I'll catch ya later," I winked at him before walking off.

Abigail / Rebecca's POV:

The ref raised my hand in victory.

I returned backstage and walked to Danielle.

"Nice match," Danielle said as she hugged me.

"Agreed, we killed it," I agreed.

"Hey guys, apparently I would be a good fit for the Shield," Saraya came walking to us.

"You would," I commented.

"How did that come up?" Danielle asked.

"Colby, he was kind of acting awkward."

I casually said, "That's suspicious."

"What do you know."

I put my hands up, "Nothing."

I started walking away.

"Abigail! Get back here!" Saraya said as I jogged away.
