I hope this chapter ended up being longer than one page.

I found bar soap and shampoo in the locker room storage closet. When I knew the coast was clear I turned on the shower and stripped out of my always dirty clothes. I stepped into the shower and felt the water hit my body, cleaning away the dirt, grime, and shame.
I had just got done washing the shampoo out when someone grabbed me by the hair. I stumbled out of the shower before covering my private parts in embarrassment. I pat the back of my head gently before looking up at who pulled me out.
Darren Martin is technically celebrity in our town- to put it simply. His mom is our mayor- the best mayor we've seen in ages- and his father is the town vet. That being that, Darren is popular. The poster child for the perfect son. He's got the grades, talents, athleticism, and most definitely the looks.
Darren watches me closely before he snaps out of it and glares at me. "What the hell are you doing in here? You don't play a sport." He demands, looking everywhere but at me. "Showering." I reply with a shrug. He rolls his eyes but looks at me.
"Whatever. Hurry up. You smell like ass."
Carson skipped in front of me down the hall to the gym. "I hope we go outside today." He says before swinging the locker room door open and continuing to skip through it. He opens his locker but it's soon slammed shut, followed by Carson's body.
"Faggot." Julian, Carson's bully, hisses in his ear before bumping him into the wall of lockers and walking away.
"Are you okay?" I ask him, gently pushing his hair out of his face to see his eyes watering. It happens all the time and always has the same effect on him. He nods and opens his locker again, grabbing his clothes and walks to the bathroom to change.
I change into my gym uniform quickly before I run out to find Carson.
I spot his head of dyed red hair snuggled deep in Mariska's neck, his whole body shaking with tears. I make my way over to them and pat his back gently. He flinches though, probably expecting Julian's fist to beat into him. Mariska kisses his cheek then wipes her bright red kissy mark off before the coach blows his whistle, signaling that it's time for laps.
Carson runs away quickly when he sees Julian exit the locker room and start his laps.
When I started running I felt the effects of not eating hit me like a tsunami wave. I bent over to breathe, only to have the coach blow his whistle right in my ear and shout, "KEEP RUNNING!" I sucked it up and continued to run.
I ran pretty far until my vision started getting fuzzy. The world tipped to the side and my head started swimming. My back met the floor and seconds later the only thing I saw was darkness.
I'm not sure how long I was out, but when I woke, I didn't know where I was. I sat up and looked around.
I was in a bedroom, that's for sure. The walls were a deep blue, with white carpeting. I'm lying in a platform bed. A flat screen TV is staring back at me.
Mom and Dad had to sell our TV last month.
The door to the bathroom swings open and Darren Martin walks out in just a towel, water dripping from his locks of brown hair. He jumps when he sees me watching him. He tears a shirt on and makes me turn away so he can put on some pants.
"What am I doing here?" I ask when he's done.
"Um, you passed out during gym. I tripped right over you by the way, which hurt. The nurse said you hadn't eaten for like a day, so I went by Mr. Nixon's class and asked for our assignments, we're partners by the way, and brought you here. Do you want to shower?"
Two showers in ONE DAY?!
Someone pinch me.
Okay, not really. Don't pinch me.
I nod and he lets me through to the bathroom.
The shower was... amazing. It never ran out of hot water and Darren had spice scented body wash. I now smell sexy. Like Darren. When I stepped out to dry off and get my t-shirt and jeans, they were gone. But instead there were boxers, a fresh button up, and black jeans. The jeans hung loose at my hips and I had to hold them up.
