Chapter 16

I woke in the morning and my head was pounding, holy crap I'm dying! I rolled and pressed my face into the pillow trying to block out the light. Damn where the hell am I? I jerked up quick looking around the unfamiliar room, a horrible sensation in the bottom of my stomach. The last time I woke up not knowing where I was, I was with Carter.

I jumped out of the bed and pressed myself against the wall, suddenly it started coming back, college, I was at USC with Ashton and this was our apartment. I breathed a sigh of relief and relaxed, Oh thank God! Ouch my head hurts! How much did I drink last night? I remember having about four or five doubles then we met a couple of guys and played pool, what were their names? Tom and Rich, no Tim yeah that's right, and Sarah and Mary.

Mary was flirting with Ashton and I got jealous and, oh no I kissed him! I was all over him and begging him to take me home and oh God no, I basically begged him to f*ck me when we got back! Holy crap that's embarrassing! But he said no, he said I was drunk and that I didn't want him, wow he's sweet! But I can't believe I did that to Jamie again! What a $lut. Thank God he said no, because I would have had $ex with him last night over and over until I couldn't stay awake anymore.

I let my head fall back against the wall, I disgust myself, I really have no self control and Jamie and Ashton deserve better than me. I looked round the room, where is Ashton anyway? I need to say thank you to him, he really is one of the nicest guys I have ever met.

I stepped out into the hall and made my way to the kitchen, I could smell coffee and toast and I was starving. I walked into the kitchen and saw Ashton, Aaron and a guy I vaguely recognised as Peter or something like that, the night guard, they were all standing around the island drinking coffee.

"Good morning" Ashton said smiling and nodding down at my legs for some reason as if trying to tell me something, I looked down and realised I was just in his t-shirt. Holy crap they're all looking at me! I blushed and tried to pull the t-shirt down further, it already came to my mid thigh but I felt exposed in front of the other two, for some reason I just didn't care if Ashton saw me like this, I mean he's seen me in less, much much less.

"Um, hi, sorry I didn't know you guys were here" I said apologetically.

"Don't worry about it Miss Spencer" the new guard said looking me over slowly making me feel a little violated.

"My eyes are up here Agent" I said acidly pointing to my face.

He jumped "Right I'm sorry Miss Spencer" he said nervously, I laughed nervously and went to stand behind Ashton slightly. He was looking at the guy warningly, Aaron just rolled his eyes looking a little bored.

"Don't worry about it, can everyone just Shh please" I said grimacing and moving so I could get a cup of coffee.

Ashton started to laugh next to me and made a glass of water, "Suffering after last night huh? Wow you really are a lightweight" he said nudging me teasingly and putting the glass of water and two pills in front of me.

"Thanks" I said gratefully swallowing them quickly.

"So what's on the agenda for today? I have anything I need to do, or can I unpack?" Ashton asked smirking at me.

I frowned, "I don't know, we need to go food shopping I guess, but I need to unpack too I don't have any clothes for today. I mean why the hell am I wearing your shirt?" I asked looking at him curiously. All three of them laughed again, I glanced at Ashton who looked a little uncomfortable.

"You were drunk, I couldn't find your pyjamas so I let you borrow my shirt" he said shrugging.

"Right ok, well thanks" I said blushing.

"Sure, so if we unpack then maybe go food shopping this afternoon. Did you want to go to that party with the people we met last night?" he asked curiously.

"Party? What party?" I asked, I don't know anything about a party.

He shook his head smiling, "That guy Tim who fancied you from last night, asked us to go to a party tonight at a bar, there's a band and DJ apparently" he said shrugging.

"Um I don't really care, you wanna go?" I asked watching his face.

"I don't mind whatever you want is fine with me" he said finishing his coffee.

"Well what about you guys? You mind if we go? I guess that means one of you has to go too, unless Ashton and I can go on our own and forget this whole guard business. I mean what my dad doesn't know won't hurt him, and we could have a sweet little set up here, you can do what you want and so can I" I said excitedly, that would be awesome.
