Puppet off it's strings

spinner.gif

Raveled too tight,

The seams will break,

Ribbons fall down,

Like summer rain,

My rivers of blues,

Slither from the skies,

I catch the strings,

As they fall to my sides,

Am I free?

Or did I lose it all,

All connections are lost,

To a world so small,

But my heart can’t feel it,

There are no tears,

I can finally think,

There’s no one in my ear,

I’m lost in these woods,

In this summer rain,

My heart should be shattered,

I lost everything,

But I can’t help but dance,

I feel no pain,

I’m finally free,

I’m the puppet of it’s strings,

I’ll restart new,

Right here by the river,

I collect the ribbons,

My blue colored slithers,

And though one day they’ll find me,

And drag me back,

Right now I’m healed,

The first peace I ever had,

I’m not lonely when alone,

I don’t miss the past,

The woods and it’s owls,

Maybe be all I’ll ever have,

But here in this bliss,

Puppet master won’t be missed,

I’m the puppet’s off it’s strings,

Nothing’s better than this.

Born to be wild,

Born to be free,

They’ll need me back,

But they’ll never caught me,

Cause I am,

The puppet off its strings,

There’s nothing else I wanna be.
