Dear Anna

When I first started to read After I wasn't sure if it was something I was going to like... But then I continued to read and soon became deeply invested in the crazy roller coaster that is Hessa. I then would stay up until midnight just reading and reading that was filled with smiles and laughter. In a short period of a month and a half (it's not really that short but because I'm a really slow reader it felt short.) I was caught up on After3 and I would always be updating my account hoping for only one story to be updated, After3. I am so happy and proud that you are publishing a book AND getting a possible movie made. Also I am happy that you're an authorized user and have now been to Toronto twice. It is always so great to read your authors notes that have words of encouragement and funny stories and explanations of why you didn't update sooner even though I was never mad, I was just happy you updated. When people ask me about fan fiction recommendations After is the very first thing I say, this usually follows with a rant on why its so great. You have made my day sometimes when you've updated, sometimes I was in a really bad mood but then I would see that you updated and I would be soooo happy and it would make the fact that I had to go to school a lot better. You always knew how to put me on the edge of my seat, from when Harry did all the stuff in London to when Harry and Tessa ended up having sex at Liam's wedding. The ending to the story could not have been more perfect! When the ending to a fan fiction is something like:

They all live happily ever after

Or

She/ he grow up with their parter and have children and get married

These kinds of endings are so stereotypical. The ending of this series was perfect in the sense that you knew that everything was going to be okay but also kind of knew that there was still in a way a lingering feeling sadness around them, plus half of the child thing could never happen. This ending is in a way like "The Fault in Our Stars" in the end it wasn't Hazel moping and being all "I can't live with out you!" she was like that for a while but in the end she was okay. I thought of this because Tessa and Harry for a while missed each other a lot but in the end when they were at the wedding you could tell that they were okay and had made something of their lives. I can't thank you enough for making smile and laugh and wanting to start screaming at Harry for being such a horrible person...

Also I liked how you made Tessa infertile because it kind of shows that life isn't always perfect and that there isn't always a super perfect ending to things like we want.

I liked all the parts where Tessa was drunk because she was funny and there were times I could not stop laughing at.

If I could ask you any questions they would be:

How old are you? (if that's not to personal)

How long have you been married?

What inspired After?

How did the name Hardin come to mind?

And what about Zedd?

How do you get an orange check?

How do you get invited to Wattpad HQ?

How long does it typically take to come up with the next chapter of the book

Did you have the entire series planned out in your mind when posted the very first book of after?

How did you remember the whole smiley face thing? I didn't remember that until I thought about it.

Anna, you are so lucky and I can't think of all the right words to write because there are so many that of I tried to make a proper. sentence it would absolutely crap. But here's a list of all things that I would say:

I love After

I still can't get over Hardin and Zedd and now that is an inside joke with one of my friends.

You have made me smile, laugh and want to curl up in a bawl and cry.

The ending was perfect.

People kept saying this is such a great Independence Day but when I realized you updated it made me think this is also something that the After fandom will recognize as a new holiday, The day After ended. It will always be my least favorite holiday. Because I mean After is OVER and this new holiday will always be mocking me by saying "haha after is over now you have nothing to do with yourself." But in the same light it will be my favorite because of how far you have gotten and all the success that you will no doubtly receive.

You have taught me so many life lessons and given so much relationship advice.

I hope everything is perfect in your life Anna and I hope you go on to live a happy successful life with your husband. I just want to say I will be buying a copy of After and hoping you'll be doing a signing in Chicago.

So all in all even if Anna is reading this when I have stopped caring about this kind of thing I want her to know that she has made me so happy and that I loved the series all to the end. ( see what I did there?)
