Ok, I'll admit that Fairy tales are just little stories that children love. But we grow up with them, believing them, and one day hoping to live them.

Foolishly people do believe them...but I didn't...and how wrong I was to do so.

Here's my story, about how I became his Princess Charming.

-Isabelle Quinn-

It was a week before Summer Break and I'd crammed for this last exam today. Biology. Not my worst subject, but I needed to study or I'd fail. And I just couldn't stand failing. I was 3 minutes late into the exam, thanks to sleeping in and missing the bus that I had to walk. But I left the exam hall, confidently, hoping I'd done my best. But who could know until results day after the Summer. I was waiting for my friend Caroline Thomas to finish her Physics exam, which I knew she didn't study at all for. But she never did study and always managed to scrape a decent grade.

"Phew...that was long" She sighed after meeting up with me. She was my only friend here at Rosehill Academy. She was a lovely brunette girl, with brown eyes, who always saw the best in everyone. "So how was Biology?"

I scoffed. "Apart from sleeping in and being late, it was ok. I'm just glad exams are over"

"Me too, just four more days till Summer Break” she squealed and I tried to look as excited. “And remember the Summer Night Party on Friday."

I gave Caroline a disapproving look and she sighed. “Don’t tell me you’re not going”

“Well...”

“No, not well, you will go, I’ll make you. It’s out last night together until after Summer.”

Caroline punched my arm and pulled at my sleeve to make me go. But I never really liked going to these school events. I’d rather stay at home and just quietly read a book. As lovely as Caroline is, she’s not the one to miss a party. And she was leaving to go to France after Friday, maybe I should go to the Summer Night Party.

She was now pulling my arm and swinging in. I rolled my eyes, tucked my hair behind my ear and threw my hands up in defeat. “Fine, I’ll go, as long you pick me up.”

“Great” she smiled. “I’ll pick you up around 8. Got Spanish now, bye.” And she skipped away across the courtyard.

Not only was there the party on Friday, but the Blake’s would be visiting the school. The Blake’s are the rich family who fund this school and pretty much run it. They have this huge business company and they make millions and pretty much show it off. As they were visiting, we had to be on our best behaviour, like every school did. Putting on a show for inspectors until they’ve left, and that’s what we had to do.

I looked at my battered watch and saw that it was time for English. I made a right and down to the English Department.

“Where have you been?” my mother asked and she sounded worried. I gave her a comforting smile and held her arm. “I was just out, what’s wrong?”

“You father’s looking for you, he’s furious you weren’t at the meeting.”

Oh yeah, the meeting, I’d somehow forgotten, even though my butler told me, my driver told me, and my father called up and reminded me. But I still didn’t turn up and he’ll probably kill me.
