Dragonslayers of Ghardian Peak

The girl ran as fast as she could, glancing behind her. They were coming for her. All of a sudden, she lost her balance, and heard a crack. She realized with horror that her leg had broken. Her brother would have to heal her later...if she lived that long. She heard footsteps approaching. She quickly whispered ‘invizibil’, the invisibility spell. Her body became a shadow as the giants approached.

“Where’d she go?” one asked.

“Come on, I think I heard her go that way,” another replied. They began to run west, the opposite direction of where she was hiding. She let out a sigh of relief. Suddenly, she felt someone grab her. Immediately, the invisibility spell fell away.

“Look, I found her!” her captor yelled. She attempted to get away, but with a broken leg, she was unsuccessful. As they carried her away into the night, she screamed.
