One thing you should know about me is that I am NOT a morning person. 2, I am scene if you like it or not. 3. I am in love with fantasies or mythical creatures. And 4... my father is the coach of my high school football team.
My name is Leah, and I am what you call a loner. I have 2 friends who happen to be in NONE of my classes. I have lunch with both of them and that's about it.
BEEP - BEEP - BEEP - BEEP! My alarm was blasting off while the shaker shaked my whole entire bed. I glared at the alarm clock and smacked the shit out of the thing, but it still wouldn't turn off.
"Gosh damn-it!" I screamed.
I pressed all of the buttons until the alarm finally turned off. Spring break is officially over...
It took about 5 minutes to get up with the radio on full blast. I got up jumped in the shower for 15 minutes, put on my checkered skinny jeans, The
Devil Wears Prada tee shirt, watched my new lip piercing, then blow dried my hair, straightened my hair, teased my hair, put on makeup, and finally started walking to school.
I lived about 50 feet from my school, so I never really went there early.
"Hey Leelee," Hayley shouted from the school steps. She was sitting with her new boyfriend Chris and his emo friends.
I miss Hayley. She used to be so fun and cool and random with me, but once she found Chris on his skateboard, she changed for the worse. I barely hear from her anymore, and she didn't even text me the whole spring break. I asked her awhile ago if she wanted to hang out, but she only insisted she was busy with Chris. God I miss her, but everyday it seems like the same old rehearsed chat.
"Hey Leelee," Hayley would always say first.
"Hey Hay, what'd you do last night," I asked
"Same old, went to Chris's house and..." she always trailed off mid thought.
"Hey Hay," I didn't bother to ask her about spring break, so I kept walking inside the building.
My school was huge, and scary looking. I had now only 1 friend who usually ended up skipping anyway, so does that mean I have no one? No one to talk to? No person that I could share... I was lost in my mind when I tripped flat on my face.
"DAMN!" I yelled as I fell to the hard ground. It seems I always fall when I'm thinking to hard.
I looked up and saw Damien kneeling on the ground.( Newsflash of Damien: He had been a prep since 5th grade, and I had a crush on him up
until 8th grade. The worst part was, that he was the head football captain, and his father was best friends with my dad, the coach. Now back to real time.) He had sorrow in his eyes but his gestures showed that he was showing off for the group of football players behind him.
"Oh hey Leelee," Damien said, kneeling down looking at me with pity.
"Back off Poser!" I yelled as I stood up quickly.
"Aww, she still likes me..." I heard Damien talking as I walked quickly to my first period class.
The day went by slowly, the first day back from break and I had a hell of allot of homework. At the end of the day I was picking at my locker's lock.
"Gosh damn-it, this damn locker!" I yelled at the purple locker.
"Your father wants you to stay for football practice," A voice from behind me said. It startled me to see James (One of the best football players) behind me.
Why me? Why now?
I turned around to say something, but James was gone. Figures.
As I was walking to the stadium stands all I could think about is why the hell do I put up with this? I never wanted my dad to be the coach of the high school prep football team! Hell I didn't want him anywhere near my school!
I took a seat in one of the middle stadium seats. My dad was talking to the team. I decided to get out my phone.
Another thing is that I like flirting with this one guy in my 2nd period, and I had no one else to talk to, so I decided to text him.
Hey smexxii I texted him first
Hey hoe XD Mitch texted me.
I am bein 4ced 2 watch fb practice!!
Ouch. That sucksss, im sowwy hun.
I looked up to see that they ended practice early, due to dry, hot weather. My dad was weird.
I started to feel my phone vibrate.
Leah come down and talk to me. My dad texted me.
Ugh! I started my way down when I noticed he was talking to Damien's dad with Damien there.
"... I'm so sorry! I don't know, I guess you could stay with us, so you could have a place to stay," My father ended.
I stood shocked. I wouldn't move. "What?!" I screamed.
Dad gave me a concerned look. "Charles's house just burnt down. We don't know the cause, but we know that they both don have a place to stay. I was thinking they could stay in the living room for now."
